  1. What does mechanically recovered mean ? And that is done as opposed to what ?
  2. Vinyl - Don't Stop Me Now (Queen). I saw some other kids shoplifting records form Woollies and said I wouldn't tell if they stole me the No.1 which turned out to be this record. CD - I got 3x for ?20 at the time: Brain Salad Surgery (E,L&P), Flogging A Dead Horse (Sex Pistols), Freewheelin' (Bob Dylan). Download - 'Asteroids' theme, Pearl & Dean. Use it for DJing.
  3. the venison burgers in william rose are ACE.
  4. Should be a cracker the Froch v Kessler fight. I want Froch to win because he avenges his loss but also because it could lead to a memorable 3rd fight ! Jones v Collins is awful, realy awful. Collins is a farmer now I think, he had heart problems in the mid-90s or around that time, when training for a contest, and collapsed. Yeuuuk. Also, Marquez has been offered $15million to fight a guy with a weak record (lost 4 of last 7 fights) in Dubai / the Aarab peninsula. Also, Mosley v Malignaggi talks well underway for a fight in next few months. Dissapointing that Mosley can even be considered for that fight, considering he's off like 3-4 straight losses. There must be deserving fighters who've served their obligations and are next in line. At least if Hatton HAD beaten Senchenko he'd have beaten the guy that Malignaggi beat to get that world title strap, so arguable be qualified to face Paulie. Khan may be considering Senchenko (among others) for a contest in near future. ...And, the fight to watch on Saturday (well, Sunday) Gennady Golovkin, check it on YouTube next day, he's a proper banger.
  5. Obviously. But most church halls are run by the associated church. That's why they don't end-up hosting all-night raves and NF conferences...
  6. well if it's a church and they want to worship to music at night they will do, right ? maybe best ask the church admin or pastor/father/etc ?
  7. not another curry house FFS! WHY on EARTH would someone open another one - of all the reatail businesses that could be opened ?
  8. I think there's a lot of good points made against setting-up a cinema in ED. There does not HAVE to be a cinema in every postcode, we've a multiplex a mile away FFS. Good luck to whoever who wants to invest the millions for an ED cinema ! Chances are you may not fancy the ED film that's playing when you're free anyway so end-up going to wherever IS showing what you want ! Shortwave is good, I've seen a few films there, also a private screening of a friend's film -it's 30 mins away by 42/78 bus or 30 mins (for me) door-to-door by train from LB.
  9. PaulK: "A bit of blood in urine is nothing." Incorrect. And dangerous to believe it. When my doctor saw what I was pissing a few years ago (bits of congealed blood) she had me at Kings for a blood test immediately. A couple of days later I was having X-Ray, MRI and other tests, culminating in a camera being put up into my bladder - where they found lesions that should not have been there. Couple of weeks later they operated and removed them all. Moral: Ignoring blood in your urine is not good for your health.
  10. they make some serious noise when makin' whoopee, sort of puts humans to shame. be cool if we could make so much noise during same activities that we freaked THEM out !
  11. I also notice that NONE of the 'big' prospects at Heavyweight are calling out Magomed Abduslamov. Fury, Price, Deontay Wilder, Seth Mitchell, Helenius - no-one wants a piece. I think someone like Jonathan Banks and possibly Haye could take care of Abdusalamov because they move well. Surely SOMEONE will take on this monster ??!! Same with Gennady Golovkin, all the bigmouths don't seem to want a unification/challenge with him.
  12. Sue from what I know you just stick the logo into somethinglike MS PowerPoint and size it as you need to. Then display trough projector. Projector should have controls to adjust perspective (like a corrective lens on an architectural camera) giving you a 'true' logo representation or bending it if you choose to do so.
  13. ....probably because it saves us starting a Boxing Humour thread !! Meanwhile Gavin Rees is sayig he's going to beat Broner on 16/2 and cannot be knocked-out by him (if yo've seen Broner you know he's closest thing to Mayweather's style). Hmmmm. Meanwhile Haye's bigging-up a fight between him and Vitali seems to be inversely proportional to the interest that Vitali actually shows in such a contest. If I was Vitali I would stuff haye where it hurts - in the pocket. Haye has done not much since fighting Vladimir, effectively stalling his career in hope of fighting Vitali. If Vitali just ignores Haye, he punishes him financially, which is a lot worse than a Rd8 KO. After the insults Haye was throwing around 2-3 years ago and the t-shirt depicting decapitation of the K Bros, Vitali owes Haye nothing. Meanwhile Kell Brook will be up against it on 23/2 against Devon Alexander, could be his first loss. Carson Jones demonstrated well how to nail Brook, Devon is miles better than Carson Jones.
  14. wow - didn't now about the link to Shoreditch ! when does that start and what station does it go to near Shoreditch ?
  15. some contests coming-up in near future, most below involve a British fighter, I'm particularly interested in Golovkin's (January) contest though : JANUARY 19: Gennady Golovkin v Gabriel Rosado (WBA middleweight) FEBRUARY 9: Peter Quillin v Fernando Guerrero (WBO middleweight). 16: Atlantic City, USA, Adrien Broner v Gavin Rees (WBC lightweight). 23: Detroit, USA, Devon Alexander v Kell Brook (IBF welterweight). Liverpool, England, David Price v Tony Thompson.
  16. When I was in Paris it was acceptable to push your way out of the kerbside parking place if you're blocked-in by other cars. Did it myself and saw it many times, passers-by hardly looking-up to notice.
  17. Maybe I've seen you down there Otta - there was always someone hanging out when I went down. Shocked on the biscuits, and slighty miffed..
  18. Although yeah I used to hang out a bit down there with John and daughter.
  19. Sorry Sue, I meant Otta's comment about the biscuits.. "Ah The Dream Machine, disco biscuits sold from a tin behind the counter. class. "
  20. Only on carpets / the stairs, surely ?
  21. Jessie - cheers, didn't know about that shop at all !! Will check out ASAP. Sue - fact or fiction !!0
  22. So Nitrimors is history now !?! That's a shock, maybe try provincial stores or t'internet and stock up ?
  23. No, I need acrylics and thickening / pouring solutions.
  24. Try the EFDSS up near Camden, they're part of a network.
