  1. Unless the lips are made of tungsten carbide and welded with kryptonite the little buggers will come off. If you remove them there may be a channel to fill, hence my suggestion to plane them down (which will soon tell you whether the lips are nailed down).
  2. Or use nail pliers to pull the lip out after tapping with a small hammer to crack the glue ?
  3. Plane them down ?
  4. Waitrose DO sell Singha beer though.

I'm positive that embedding an RSJ into a party wall requires a party wall agreement! Then we're agreed on what a party wall agreement is needed for. Embedding a steel into a party wall is an amendment to the party wall.
  6. If there's a range of porn options available surely anyone, man or woman - if they're inclined to look at porn, will gravitate to their fave turn-ons at some point or the areas that fascinate, but then also to areas they've not personally explored yet. Women I know who hate porn (or the idea of it) generally do so from the viewpoint that it exploits women. However, there are some established female porn makers who seem to be more palatable to women for this particular reason. ie. by women for women kind of thang. How common is women looking at porn ? Probably very difficult to determine..
  7. I think party wall agreements only cover amendments to, additions to, removal from the joint structural boundary wall. Not necessary if you just plan to do some building work. First I would get a structural surveyor to make an assessment of what appears to be being indertaken. This assessment should be the basis of your response to the works by the developer, if you wish to engage over the damage you say you've seen. Take photos.

  12. I got caught in the hills of Eastern Burma in a territory then under control of the Mon National Liberation Army. Unfortunately it was the Burmese Army who found me, camped up on a hill clearing with dirt bike, camouflage tent, camouflage backpack, camouflage sleeping bag, camouflage trousers, binoculars and big lens camera. They couldn't speak much English but they could say 'you, spy'. Straight to the army camp where they swiftly converted a road entry sentry hut into my gaol. 3 days and a couple of beatings later they let me go, sans camera gear. Very wild west.. Fantastic food though from the camp chefs though !

PERISH the thought, how VERY dare you. Speaking of parties, 2 weeks ago I had a party which wrapped-up about 4.30am. Didn't tell neighbours about it - shame on me. Wasn't mentally loud though, but loud enough to dance.

  25. Running on snow where the ground is even mildly uneven can injure your back or joints, a small dip in the ground or an old hole or clump of grass unseen is all it takes.
