  1. Why are they monitoring only main road routes when much of the traffic has found workarounds to (try to) avoid the increased congestion ? 'Less traffic' could literally be down to the congestion forcing drivers off the main routes ! The sample set is far from complete if the intention is to identify what has happened to the traffic. Crystal Palace Rd for instance is worse than before LTNs and is actually dangerous during 'rough hours'. Where did this increase originate from ?
  2. .... and always an awkward, stuck, wheel in one corner squeaking and jamming as it spins the trolley persistently out of control ! diable rouge Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > JohnL Wrote: > -------------------------------------------------- > ----- > > Is there a Dominic Cummings translator in the > > house, what's the trolleys for ? > > Haphazard, no control, directionless, suddenly > veering off course...
  3. If you knocked on doors you could cover that block in half an hour - see who else hears it/get a better fix on it.
  4. isn't there still a direct train (albeit infrequently) direct train from ED stn to East Croydon ?
  5. Shame we can?t do a selective ?Scrabble? of society, for a clean start.
  6. Wow, got me quite choked-up there, DR !! 🤣🤣😭😭😭😭😭
  7. As a citizen, I'll agree that the 'its coming home' thing is fecking irritating... TheCat Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > As foreigner, I'll agree that the 'it's coming > home' thing is definitely irritating...
  8. The father would have been overly lax imo just to sit there on the bus while screaming ?patriots? board the bus and come right up to him and his actual family. Don?t blame the pissed-up hooligans, suggest the family man fanned the flames instead 🤣 alice Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > If a person gets out of their seat to go to front > of bus to tell exuberant fans to ?calm down? 9. The whole concept and messaging is bent out of shape. We live in one of the free-est societies in the world but somehow it?s being painted that we?re not free - because some of us adhered to pandemic regulations. Tbh - the Govt has little to make slogans out of but this distraction (and momentary punch-the-air populist opportunity) really does take the biscuit. rahrahrah Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > How are people feeling about the ?Freedom Day? 10. I mean give the people ?freedom? = stay popular Obvs the NHS are shitting themselves, many NHS workers won?t have the energy for a 3rd wave - or the stress of worrying when it?s coming.

It's a purely populist decision, so no room for doing what's safest for the people.
  12. ...and after several cycles of this (and many more deaths) some people might start wearing masks and adhering to safety measures.
  13. The problems are a whole load of unvaccinated numpties spreading it, more leeway as a result for new mutations to evolve, no accounting for long Covid, limited understanding of what long Covid for the Delta variant looks like, and while this is happening pronouncing masks are discretionary. During a pandemic. Right.
  14. You have the right to maintain your property, fix up your garden, and take care of DIY projects on any weekend or evening but obviously not working too late. If one is a working person then often it?s only weekends/evenings available to take care of such projects. yeknomyeknom Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Slightly different question following on from > this. It?s scary. Propa scary. Only goes one way this. South.
  16. Nah, people who?ve been on the pot don?t concoct falsehoods to incriminate strangers. Sounds like she needs a big sweet doobie though to chill TF out !! 🤣 Chick Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Jeez what happened to live and let live? 17. Yep I got same email at 14:37 today. It?s from [email protected] (though I don?t know whether the sender email address can be faked).
  18. I think there are good and bad things about England and it?s population, commenting on either is just observation isn?t it ? I?m not sure there?s a starting point of everything must be spoken of with awe if it?s your own country - unless one is blindly ?patriotic?.
  19. Meanwhile, the council makes ?3million in a couple of months. Spot the winner. And the losers. rahrahrah Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > To post the other side of the argument as > Legalalien suggests: > > The changes have been rushed in, with no baseline > data and no proper analysis of the effects. 20. ? The flag waving. The stench of spilled Stella, vomit and piss.? Aaah, the English ?culture? so many seem to be fiercely proud of.
  21. I would venture that it?s less of a maths/science grasp thing and more of a mindset thing. Sometimes the maths is simple, but some people just don?t care about the maths or facts - they want to believe what they believe.
  22. Those properties are cheaper for a reason - you?ll pay in stress and ?maintenance? costs for your entire residence there.
  23. Can someone please clarify.. Reading this thread there seems to be a conclusion that: Questioning physical fairness of women competing with other humans with higher testosterone/strength/power = transgender hatred Is that what is being said ?
