  3. not really, no yourself?

  5. It's true. Should any of Cilla's relatives somehow manage not to see the banks of national newspapers out today each with a seven page spread speculating as to the cause of her death - AND simultaneously fall onto a keyboard and by huge fluke input the words 'Cilla Black East Dulwich Forum' and hit 'enter' - they would be horrified to discover you comparing her hair colour to that of Cecil the Lion - and it would be as if poor Cilla had died all over again. We can only hope that this most unfortunate set of circumstances do not occur.

  7. Our Mum was a fairly unremarkable cook until Dad took the bull by the horns and went ?all forrin?, arriving home with Ken Lo and Madhur J cookbooks. It was a culinary revelation - and perfect timing as preparation for leaving home for university. Then he died, which was a bit shit. But at least I knew how to cook curry - which was a comfort. I suspect - had he known how long he?d have to wait for Cilla, Cecil and Stu - he might have hung on a bit longer.

  9. Aaanyway, I'm off to the general issues section. Laters!
  10. too late to backtrack now consistency is important if you're planning pitching your tent on the moral high ground
  11. Let?s just have a recap, shall we Posted by Louisa Yesterday, 06:34PM I'm struggling to see where the lion's mane stops and cilla's hair starts. Posted by Louisa Yesterday, 11:37PM I'm sick of this modern culture of mocking those no longer here to defend themselves. BOLLOCKS!
  12. Oh yeah - sorry, I forgot. YOU get to decide whether YOU?RE being offensive to anyone - and everyone else just has to suck it up cos you just speak as you find and stuff and so what yeah? But everyone else must abide by your rules as and when you make them up, or as in this case - change your mind a few hours later.. when you realise there might be a bit of mileage in it.
  13. You're potentially offensive to people half the time - and you don't give two tits. No?
  14. If you find yourself attempting to explain why the picture might be funny, you're already wasting your time.
  15. No, I wouldn't have seen that one coming, Callie. I can't wait to see when it does though. It will be such a surprise.

It was probably a delayed reaction, RD. This is quite common when people are, er, 'grieving'. Good grief.
  17. I was wondering how come Cilla didn't make it into 'The Chapel of Rest'. That said, I don't suppose she would have liked it there - with all those less talented people.

  19. Tell you what, let's make this easy. Well done - you were right all along. You are vindicated. Here's a mirror. Congratulate yourself again.
  20. The backstory of course has always been that she was generally vile to work with and an all-round nasty piece of work etc etc Personally I can imagine that maintaining your position as the highest paid entertainer in the male-centric world of 1980's tv required a very thick skin and a giant set of steel balls - and made her a good few enemies along the way.
  21. Excellent raking of google for cut and paste information as usual, to provide your traditional longwinded essay as to how you were 'actually not wrong', despite being, well, so obviously wrong. You are a very strange man. I'm being kind.
  22. I my defence, we only got back from a party at 4am. There was a little difficulty in sleeping so we passed time opening another bottle, inhaling nitrous oxide and getting jiggy in the back garden. Perhaps we'll try Twickenham next weekend though. Sounds good.
  23. "There are different traits within narcissism, and we all have varying degrees of it, but the most common traits in people with high levels of narc traits, is the inability to accept they are wrong, and inability to see they need to change."
  24. I'm sick of people moaning about being sick of hearing people moaning about the picturehouse cinema.
