Actually Aura, stick around you'll like BBW. I do. But the above should read along the lines of him being a foul mouthed gobshite genius who spends most of the time prone and boasts about it. And I thank your for it BBW.

  11. Glad you're better AC, and glad you encountered some good people. And well done to the people who helped. Without being presumptuous, I bet if they're reading this they're thinking, well what else would we have done? It's what people who do what they did think, and that's why I continue to believe in people's essential goodness and decency. We may not be always great but people are the only game in town. Anya and pard, you're a couple of good uns and I salute you both with a cold Peroni.
  12. Brendan Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I?ve always used ?trendy? as a pejorative term. > Have I been getting it wrong? Of course you have. The word trendy when accompanied with fists held at waist level and a waggling of the shoulders indicates the latest up to the minute togs that will certainly lead to you pulling a 'little raver'. Sorry that should be a 'little raver'. Did Mr Lucas toil all those years in Grace Brothers for us to learn nothing about sexy menswear? Sadly these days Young Mr Grace would be unlikely to tell us we'd "All done very well", but rather have c@nted us all off. Young Mr Grace would have been still pulled off from the scene by his nurses, but he'd have taken no joy. None at all. And Captain Peacock would have cared neither jot nor tittle about any of them. Callous old queen.
  13. Toothless perhaps, but your dickie dirt would be immaculate.

  21. OK Chicory Tip not a great name but Son Of My Father was a great song. Mama said to me, we gotta have your life run right Off you go to school where you can learn the rules there right Be just like your dabbling father when it seems tradition Never go astray and stay an honest, loving son Son of my father Moulded, I was folded, I was free from draft Son of my father Commanded, I was branded in a plastic vac Surrounded and confounded by statistic facts Tried to get me in but I jumped out of my skin in time I saw through their lies and read the alibi signs So I left my home, I'm really on my own at last Left the wrong path and separated from the past Son of my father Changing, rearranging into someone new Son of my father Collecting and selecting independent views Knowing and I'm showing how the change is due Son of my father Moulded, I was folded, I was free from draft Son of my father Commanded, I was branded in a plastic vac .... I mean if someone of the calibre and credibility of say Ceasefire had written these lyrics we'd be creaming our spandex strides over them. "Commended I was stranded in a plactic vac". Who amongst us hasn't been there? They played at my brother-in-law's social club in Selsdon a while back, they're back back back by popular demend in the Autumn, so I've told the BIL to get me a ticket. I'll be down the front row with my notebook and pencil. I'll be filing my review under the name Nick Kan't.

Brummy as I remember, Bostin Steve Austin a reference to Lee Majors Six Million Dollar Man. Or it might have been less. Unless I'm completely wrong the Birmingham female group We've Got A Fuzz Box And We're Gonna Use It brought it to more popular attention.
