I don't understand her sometimes - however seeing her creep around the fringes of international summits out of synch with every other leader doesn't give me confidence in her. https://www.indy100.com/article/transgender-rules-reform-gender-recognition-act-2004-dysphoria-theresa-may-8427476

What she said: No one wants a good deal more than me. But the EU should be clear. I will not overturn the results of the referendum nor will I break up my country. We need serious engagement on resolving the two big problems in the negotiations. And we stand ready. What she meant: I will cave in after the Conservative Party conference https://www.independent.co.uk/voices/theresa-may-10-downing-street-statement-what-she-said-meant-translation-a8548726.html

UK is leaving the EU not vice-versa. This is going to end in her resignation. Edit: As I said 6 months ago the EU have offered 1. Norway 2. Canada. Boris is now saying he'd take Canada - you have a Devil's alliance. Edit Again: And I assume Boris would throw NI under a bus :)

That idiot John Redwood wants tax cuts - and says we can have it from the 39 Billion we are not going to pay the EU. I expected tax increases this autumn (even if indirect ones) - for the NHS and Social Care.

Theresa May will be down soon then ... without a flack jacket.

We might still buy Dutch stuff but pay more (maybe quite a bit more) for it. That depends on how prosperous we feel post Brexit.

At a guess option 2 :) But May doesn't need to climb down in Europe - just at home. She can go Canada with the Brexiteers Norway with Labour Otherwise it's an election, referendum or no deal.

news is so depressing. Theresa May embarrassing, John Redwood as crazy as ever. The leader of UKIP making islamophobic statements on air (I'll be surprised if he doesn't get a visit from the police).

A few more banks having issues today - Nat West included. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/news/natwest-rbs-ulster-bank-down-online-mobile-banking-service-latest-when-back-up-a8548111.html

Sky News are calling yesterday the "Salzburg Snub" I don't know where we go from here - As a remainer I say Peoples Vote (maybe now with 4 options Remain, Norway, Canada, No Deal) done by STV. There's no time left unless we extend A50.

I agree it's negotiation - but they just seem so much better at it than us - this tweet from Peston actually makes you feel sorry for her - the girl being excluded from the in crowd at school. You get the feeling it was all planned.

It happened before apparently - exactly the same in the late 1990s with the same conclusion according to this from August https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2018/aug/08/croydon-cat-killer-hunt-three-years-man-myth and look at this one from the states where they caught the cat killer https://www.courthousenews.com/hes-not-a-serial-cat-killer-after-all/

Faisal Islam's summary of the Salzburg summit PM: it?s my Chequers Deal or No Deal Tusk: EU27 agree Chequers ?will not work? Dutch PM: Netherlands is more prepared than UK for No Deal French PRes: UK politicos who sold Brexit are ?liars?

I always assume someone, somewhere has studied this in detail (as part of a thesis perhaps). If not it's crying out for it - four years to come to this conclusion ?

Agreed - Why should residents of Camberwell and Peckham now support the Bakerloo Line extension (obviously there are some reasons) - especially as it seems public funding is now needed to make up the cost (which will increase).
-
The station in Camberwell was a sop in return for supporting the Bakerloo line extension through OKR. TFL have also confirmed no Bakerloo line extension stop at Bricklayers Arms - maybe the whole project is being scaled back ... notice at the end of the article "if funding is secured" - we're talking post Brexit. https://www.southwarknews.co.uk/news/tfl-rules-out-bricklayers-arms-tube-station-in-bakerloo-line-extension-plans/

That's rather individual. I've actually thought of carrying the "fake wallet" etc, I certainly wouldn't wear a Rolex (I don't even wear a watch) - but I would carry an iPhone XS (I'm not prepared to sacrifice that). At one time I'd have loved a small moped - but just wouldn't now. -

LOL you turn your airline over - set the aerofoils so you are flying upside down perfectly - then realise the fuel inlets at the fuel tank are at the bottom of the plane DOH.
