I remember a government minister (could be Cleverly) a few years ago mentioning that a load of pro government twitter accounts would be coming online the next week - which makes me suspect there's a government bot factory out there :)

Not all people will objectively calculate risk (people still had unsafe sex in the 1980s) others calculate risk and think 'I'm alright jack' - judging the risk to themselves not society. Others have financial or other interests - many people still claiming the herd immunity agenda is still there.

Yeah - that 100GB I never use but pay for came in useful for once :) Work phone has 5GB and I suppose technically once that's gone you could ask your employer for more or work offline. A home line is not a business line and is not guaranteed the same levels of support - I'd expect an office circuit (pt2pt or ia) to be back up in hours or a day at most - home broadband has much lower levels of service guarantee. -

If you google there's some bad stuff about this online - but I think it's fake news and seems OK to me. https://youngsseafood.co.uk/species/basa/

Anyway the above just building my case that if Boris is an idiot he's surrounded by idiots (and I haven't mentioned Patel who has disappeared). If you're an idiot and surround yourself with clever people you can step back and be a figurehead leader (which many say Boris did as London Mayor)

"Has Grant Shapps gone rogue as briefings from the home office and foreign office say" no answer - Burley got out of bed the wrong side today.

Brokenshire trying to explain something about track and trace but he's coming across as saying "you don't need the app for the app to work" Kay Burley sounds hysterical as he drones on.

My WFH backup is my phone data and survived a week on that back in February. There are painful issues with the hotspot falling off after the PC goes to sleep and then not rejoining - and people moaning about the same issue way back in 2012 :(. -
He's surrounded himself with a team chosen on beliefs rather than talent which will make him look bad whatever he does.

We had Piers Corbyn arrested here but British Police walked him away from Hyde Park :)

I know there's confusion especially as the police seem to have wrongly charged - but I guess that's a technicality. "5. Public gatherings To ensure people are social distancing, the government has prohibited by law all public gatherings of more than two people, except for reasons set out in the regulations. These include:" https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/staying-alert-and-safe-social-distancing/staying-alert-and-safe-social-distancing and http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2020/350/2020-05-13 Mind these superseded the ones below on 1 may - so maybe police do now have law and didn't below (a total guess that when Pritti Patel relaxed the regulations she tightened up the loopholes LOL) https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-guidance-on-social-distancing-and-for-vulnerable-people/guidance-on-social-distancing-for-everyone-in-the-uk-and-protecting-older-people-and-vulnerable-adults Edit: I note how this phrase was added to every paragraph later "Commencement Information I1 Reg. 1 in force at made date at 1.00 p.m., see reg. 1(1)" - only a lawyer could understand what that means ?

At least, > that?s the impression I got from the post. Last tooth I had removed took 30 minutes of pulling and then it split apart :( Some people find removing teeth easier but some of us have teeth that won't come out. Wouldn't want to go through that under current conditions (no real reason why just would not feel good about it) just a gap left as it was a molar.

I must have been one of the last to have a dental appointment at the Gardens - days before lockdown and no real feel of oncoming doom in the surgery (it was a very relaxed appointment with no fillings and I seem to get a few due to 1970s childhood drilling) They have a number for patient advice if you're registered with them but other than that it's 111 http://www.thegardensdentalcentre.co.uk/

Concordia has also become Omnes (just a change of name). Website: www.tessajowellgpsurgery.co.uk -

People don't though as they're busy with other stuff when moving - I took a few years once (no excuse there but I think I got away with it). -
"Sometimes we will issue a new card to you and cancel your old one if we think the security on your existing card has been compromised." https://www.barclays.co.uk/help/cards/debit-card/why-new-card/ That could mean of course you brought something you don't normally buy :)
-
The only time this happened to me with Halifax it was attempted fraud that went in a circle of new card -> cancel -> new card - someone seemed to be cancelling my cards and requesting a new one. When my card is stable and not replaced until expiry I feel more secure. That doesn't mean Barlcays don't do it - make sure you don't ring a number supplied by the text - find a Barclays number on their website./

Maybe taxes coming into London should go solely to London 2017 - but probably still valid.

I'm thinking of getting rid of my car eventually - basically a Sainsburys wheelbarrow and keet having to replace batteries due to lack of use. The Zip cars may help - anybody use them ?
