  1. I think their prices are lower than similar places round here (could be wrong but has been my experience).
  2. Dr Mary Glover, Gt Ormand St hospital, we saw her privately in her Gt Portland St offices. http://www.gosh.nhs.uk/health-professionals/clinical-specialties/dermatology-information-for-health-professionals/meet-the-team/mary-glover/
  3. http://www.thegoodfairy.co.uk The good fairy is based in East Dulwich, am sure if you got in touch they would have something.
  4. Just saw Chris today and he said tomorrow they will be open (I guess barring any unforeseen hiccups). Yay!
  5. It is the car boot sale at Heber this weekend not the fair. Thanks.
  6. I borrowed the small pool in a box and bought a new liner. I am tall (5'10) and it was fine for me. I have had two water births and found I didn't need lots of room. Highly recommend it! Best advice we had was to get the pump to empty it....
  7. Another vote for try-time we have been going for a couple of years now (since 3.5yrs). My son loves it. All the coaches are great too, very engaged.
  8. I have started using Agnus Castus from Healthmatters. They are drops you take during the cycle but can honestly say it has been life changing in regards to the whole period cycle. Maybe worth talking to them in there. I know I sound melodramatic but things had got completely out of hand after having kids, she described it as slowing the swing of the pendulum to proper levels and that's how it feels! Am not sure about ovulation pain but worth a try maybe?
  9. The jewellers on upland rd does, although they take it in to Hatton Garden, so takes about a week.
  10. Ha, I saw that also and thought genius! We screwed one of the cups that come with the gates into the post at the bottom which then provides a flat surface for the gate. It does damage the post though, have found some form of remedial work always necessary after stair gates but unavoidable really...
  11. And here, really helpful and reliable. Definately recommend.
  12. I received this on the day I joined another practice....
  13. Loads of cars have forums specifically devoted to their brand and it is a great way of hearing about any recurring problems with a particular type once you have narrowed it down. We made the decision based on the things we needed then weighed up the results from there. It means you can be really specific on auto trader once you know and can jump on the good priced ones. Then we got our regular garage to give it the once over before we bought. Has worked well (touch wood) twice for us now on not particularly new cars.
  14. Result, youngest now going as Spiderman (yes, I know tenuous book link) but alternatives were 4 arms or acelerate from Ben 10 or (slightly worryingly) Voldemort from Harry Potter, (??? Not harry???) however have vetoed Voldemort as has not read the book (is 5) and i have refused to make the aliens from Ben 10 (did actually google and some annoying parents had done a full how to guide with helpful comments like "Yes, I do always have black fabric and ceramic paint to hand"....) oldest is Hermione again, was ready for that, hopefully Spidey still acceptable tomorrow!
  15. H and M is brilliant for tall kids, POP is also great but substantially more expensive...
  16. Try loads of the builders recommended on here, a lot don't live locally.
  17. I found a book really helpful for this. Unfortunately the one I used was from NZ but am sure there are similar. I used this one, it was really sweet. http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/8067818-old-hu-hu
  18. They are try time rugby now. Still the same people running it. I couldn't recommend them highly enough. They are totally engaged with the kids, make it all fun (even in the grim downpours and thunder on Sat my son was smiling). We have been going since my son was 3 (I think maybe just before but there are real littleys there) now five. Recently moved up to the older group which has been great also. I love how into it the kids are. http://www.trytimekidsrugby.com
  19. We did exactly that for my daughter at 2, with the ikea side rail and it was absolutely fine, she loved it!
  20. I would like to second Julie, I and quite a few of my friends have used her wonderful services for years now through various children! I am happy to have a chat if you would like, just drop me a PM. Amy
  21. http://www.marksandspencer.com/Faux-Fair-Isle-Knitted-Muffs/dp/B002PJEXOI (I looked as I thought my son might like some too, is always stealing his sister's!)
