  1. We do 2 bottled cows milk and 1 bottle formula. No appetite problems though. But makes me feel better on the days he doesn't eat much.
  2. Yep, this is an old thread and also some old feedback. I know 1 child at this nursery and they are very happy. As with all things. Visit and make up your own mind!
  3. What do people eat on the fast days? I keep it simple and eat boiled egg for bfast, soup for lunch, soup for dinner and 2 small bananas as snacks. Maybe I don't keep to enough variety?
  4. I was doing it and didn't lose that much weight, I think because I wasn't exercising. Have had a break as have been ill and going to start again shortly.
  5. Such a young baby, maybe one of the Nct new mum coffee mornings? Good for meeting people and gentle group for the baby. Otherwise the bumps and babes group is great.

  7. You could try a hop-tye, rent one from sling library and if you decide to buy I have one! Otherwise I know someone who did really well with a woven wrap if you don't get along with the stretchy ones. Def recommend the sling library in any case.
  8. im really tempted. i always, always have my hair in a ponytail and it would be nice to be able to have it down a bit. i have to wear it in a pony at night as we are pretty much co-sleeping and so it would be nice to be able to just wet it and go in the morning.
  9. our movers got rid of ours the second we moved in. i think the guy found them so annoying he couldn't help himself. he was kicking it off its post when we arrived.
  10. Hi strawbs, does it work if you just let it dry naturally?
  11. agree nice to have the continued option of parent facing. bugaboos and icandys are lovely but there are other really great options for much cheaper especially the baby jogger (had a push of birnehelene's versa and feel very envious of it!) if you arent bothered by parent facing then look at the micralite toro too. if you are going on the bus a lot though, the bee is great, and the baby jogger - one handed fold, cant say better than that! if you have time, seek out a second hand pram - then if you find it doesnt suit you once the baby is here you can sell it on and get something else without losing too much cash.
  12. A friend swears by drizzling oil on the bum to help the poo come out. Not had to do it myself so can't recommend it personally!

  22. Oak tree nursery have spaces, they are on tell grove, so well located for ed station. My son has just started and i am happy so far. Their number is 0208 693 0306 ask for Maria. I have to admit you have to be persistent, eg they don't always call you back and you have to chase emails, but now we've started that's not the case. I have been very happy with what I have seen of the childcare.
  23. My son has started to really hate medicine after a week of cal pol and cough syrup, I now have to add antibiotics which is bad enough but..... EYE DROPS! How on earth do I do it? He is very strong and also flexible s can get out of my husbands grip fairly quickly. Any tips? Ps anyone worried about the week of cal pol, it's all on docs orders.

  25. I had the same problem, spent loads trying different cups, he now happily drinks from all of them, so perhaps time is the cure. He still refuses milk from a sippy cup but will happily drink water from one.
