  1. Wow a Picture House less than a mile from the other new one! They're really expanding! Louisa.
  2. Praying for a Pret before a boots thank you very much *Bob*. Louisa.
  3. I've got plenty on my agenda for when I get there. Who needs a pub when you can take your own alcohol anyway. Peace and tranquility, priceless for me. Louisa.
  4. Otta I remember The Capitol as being the old ABC cinema- Saturday morning pictures. Closed in the early 70s. Louisa.
  5. Jeremy don't pretend you don't know who Space NK are haha. Give it a year and they'll be here, a ripe candidate will be the old ED Deli. Louisa.
  6. I've spoken to a representative at Wetherspoons customer care team and they informed me there were no plans for this public house to be closed now or at any time in the future. Where did you get your information from malcolmchurch? Louisa.
  7. Thank you for the website links AM and TownleyGreen. It's not as complicated as I first thought. Initially I was looking at flights from down here upto Glasgow and then a hire car to Ullapool and ferry over to Stornoway and then some sort of marine transportation across to the island. However on reflection it would seem driving to Oban and a ferry to bottom of the island of Lewis would be the easiest route and then if the weather is ok the night ferry 14 hours over to St Kilda would be great. I've found a wonderful Website specialising in luxury accommodation on the remote island of Lewis http://www.hebrideanhuts.co.uk so I plan to spend a week in one of these and then head over to St Kilda for 5 nights camping. Louisa.
  8. I'm planning a holiday to Scotland in September and I'm thinking of the western isles. I know how to get to Stornoway (roughly) but does anyone know if it's possible to get to the remote island of St Kilda from the western isles? Ideally id like to stay a few days, I've searched online and information is sketchy. Anyone? Louisa.
  9. I agree it's not nice but I'm just pointing out that legally if it is found to be a field mouse it is against the law to harm them in any way. Even if you call in rentokil. Louisa.
  10. Don't forget if they're field mice they're protected and you can't touch them. Louisa.
  11. Here we go. What did I do with that organic popcorn? Louisa.
  12. Glad to see the England team finally put out of their misery by the Costa Ricans, even before they're due to play them. Louisa.
  13. I meant any of Europe's finest teams, whatever country they come from. Louisa.
  14. Italy looking tired and predictable. These South American teams appear a class above even Europe's finest in this World Cup. Louisa.
  15. It's not over yet! Here's how England can still qualify for the knock out stages. Taken from the Metro. Step one Italy need to beat Costa Rica in their 5pm kick-off tonight (this should happen). Step two England need to beat Costa Rica (hopefully by a few goals) on Tuesday, 5pm kick-off. Step three Italy then need to beat Uruguay (again, by a few goals) also on Tuesday, 5pm kick-off. This means? Italy will win Group D, going through automatically, while England, Costa Rica and Uruguay will all have three points, after winning one game each. BUT ? we?ll hopefully squeeze through in second place, thanks to the goal difference rule. And then ON TO WIN THE WORLD CUP. Probably. Louisa.
  16. Cheap tasteless mass produced popcorn is a must along with overpriced 'meal deals' and slush puppies. I for one, can't wait. Louisa.
  17. Disco and House cannot be compared. Different age, different musical styles. Louisa.
  18. Otta yes Taboo was a Kirdy Stevens classic! It's probably a bit too close to the mark for art house cinema, but it is one I've seen before. As soon as disco died (82/83) the genre died with it IMO. Louisa.
  19. What a predictable England performance. Same old story yadda yadda yadda. Any Costa Rica score predictions? I reckon England might get a draw. World class players my mobility scooter. Louisa.
  20. I don't have much knowledge of films from the 1980s, and my genre was at it's best in the 70s anyway. Gone to the dogs these days. Such is life. Louisa.
  21. Judging by some of Salsaboy's previous posts, it would appear too many of these "balanced" burger joint meals are passing his/her mouth. Louisa.
  22. How dare she brazenly walk about with her phone on display, teasing would be opportunists. It's not on. This country has gone to the dogs etc Louisa.
  23. Let's hope with all this arty cinema we get some classics like 'Debbie Does Dallas' and 'Party at Kitty and Studs'. Louisa.
  24. Otta I agree 100% cars mounting pavements isn't something to condone, but surely the point of this thread is to expose a criminal and congratulate those who helped the victim by trying to catch him? Any other issues are surely common sense and shouldn't be dealt with on here. Think of the poor victim reading this thread, and how they would feel about all of the supposedly humorous posts about possible punishments. She's done nothing wrong and is reading comments which in her eyes sound sympathetic to the perpetrator. I'd be a bit p/$$ed dunno about you? Louisa.
  25. Here we go again. The EDF liberal elite with their slap on the hand mentality. Why don't we give the poor chap counselling too for all the stress these inconsiderate folk put him through? What a load of tosh. He deserved everything coming to him if he went out of his way to mug someone in broad daylight. No one is seriously suggesting death upon the person, but come on, do you not think he would be laughing at all the comments regarding cars mounting pavements and hang draw and quartering him? He knows he did wrong, we know he did wrong, and more importantly, the innocent woman who has probably be left with mental scars over this incident knows he did wrong. End of. Louisa.
