  1. Lorenzo has shot our family photos every year since my daughter was a baby, both in our cluttered flat and also at his home studio. Highly recommended. Http://www.lorenzophotgraphy.co.uk
  2. The Clash box set has been requested for xmas (and bday as it's bloody pricey) http://pitchfork.com/news/50831-the-clash-to-release-massive-box-set-shaped-like-a-boombox-plus-greatest-hits-comp/
  3. Lorenzo Ali is highly recommended on the forum and has taken photos of my family and several others on the forum. He also has a special offer for EDFers: http://www.livelovelocal.net/listings/lorenzo-photography-raspberryripple-ltd/
  4. There are lots for sale at very reasonable prices at St Thomas More church (next to Dulwich Library), on the left as you enter. Available at the end of each church service on Sunday.
  5. It's not local but there's a great Kindergarten course at Junior Guildhall (really easy to get to from Denmark Hill or Peckham Rye) and it's two years of musical training but without learning an instrument, from age 4. Kodaly and Dalcroze-based methods of learning.
  6. How about Carly? She's a mobile hairdresser and has a toddler so she'll be well used to dealing with fidgety clients! https://www.facebook.com/pages/Carlys-Mobile-Hairdressing/118912778251395?fref=ts
  7. I ordered something from them, then decided to Google them afterwards and panicked when I read all the reviews of items not turning up, not getting refunds etc. but luckily my order turned up. If I had read the reviews before, I definitely would not have ordered from them.
  8. Yes Bumpkin, we do it every day we are open. At the moment that is Wed to Sat. Just drop in.
  9. It is highly addictive. We had a trio in yesterday who created a record-breaking 19 paintings!
  10. Delicious Artisanal Sourdough bread, still warm to make your toast experience at Captured on the Rye a memorable one. Choice of Peckham Rye and Country white styles. mmmmmm
  11. Our school hasn't given any homework, just a different book each week.
  12. Nimble Arts runs at Heber School and does a mixture of art, drama and music every weekday during half-term. http://nimblearts.co.uk/?page_id=408
  13. Looking forward to this today at 11am!
  14. Eleven it is - just had a job come up for the afternoon although it's not confirmed yet!
  15. Could we make this earlier in the day, a pre-lunch thing perhaps?
  16. Camberwell Choir School is only a quid per session and that includes free squash and fruit afterwards. It is really brilliant, the staff are fantastic and my daughter really liked the classes when she was 2 - 3.
  17. The only negative reaction I had was at Southwark Town Hall when I went to register the birth and a member of staff told me to leave the waiting room and breastfeed in the toilet because "it was making some people uncomfortable" apparently. Never had any problems elsewhere - same as the poster above, often approving comments.
  18. Just open Weds to Sat at the moment.
  19. Shall we set something up next week, I was thinking Weds to avoid clashing with the Ivy House but Friday is an option too. The shop has Wi-Fi, table space, really good coffee and cake :) I don't drive so the Ivy House is a bit far although I'd be keen to check it out some time.
  20. We're under 200m to Heber, last place for 2013 says 263 metres so that should just about reach the top end of Barry. I was surprised as I didn't think Heber was an option. I'm nearer the Goodrich Road intersection of Barry Rd than the Lordship Lane end. Can't remember our distance from Goodrich but I think that's within the catchment too.
  21. They do take shoes as well as clothes at the Plough recycling place
  22. The top of Barry Road near the Bread of Life cafe is in the catchment for Heber, Goodrich and St Anthony's school.
  23. Sounds good - I'm up for this as I work from home too and hardly see anyone in the daytime. If you make it a different day (Weds - Sat) then I'm sure my partner will be happy to host at his cafe, Captured on the Rye on Pellatt Road, near The Mag pub. They aren't open on Tuesdays, though.
