  1. Ooh yes, gimme.
  2. I'm Spartacus in a Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir bath. Marginally less compelling slave-girl credentials perhaps...

I thank you.
  4. Ah, Jah. Always the dreamer... I'm liking her shoes though.
  5. Karrie, has the "intrusion" really bothered you that much? Crikey. This made me think of something Impetuous said on another thread about people being bothered about real stuff, like the floods in Pakistan. Not directing that at you Karrie, but just finding it hard to care about trolling or otherwise in the broader (or indeed any) scheme of things.

Ah, I use the playlist sharing quite a lot - love it - it's the new mixtape.
  7. I'm hoping for dinner at the meat wagon baby. If only they did deliveries...
  8. Aww, W**f, you big softie. I might be hung over, but brought a tear to my eye. Good man.
  9. Ohhhhhh god, the meat wagon. It's not fair to punish us with pictures of meat we cannot have right now - what did we ever do to you?
  10. Man, I feel like Lizzie Bennett tonight...
  11. If I'm to start kissing girls it will be Salma Hayek, Imelda May or the hot redhead from the Puppini Sisters. And Karter, are you suggesting somehow that yours is something other than the dark side?
  12. jrussel, you didn't answer my question about making me famous for being unutterably fabulous? I'm open-minded about whether the article (if indeed this isn't the most elaborate trolling yet) will prove interesting. I do though think that the manner in which you went TAH-DAH! was a little OTT, and, well, frankly pompous.
  13. Who could decline such a graciously bestowed gift? Hello LM.

If that was in reference to my comment about its being after the fact, I'm not sure that I have seen any articles on the subject. But this forum's been going for a good few years, I was on other forums for a good few years before that - my point is that it's not terribly au courant. That said, if you make me famous for being unutterably fabulous, I'll gladly take it all back.
  15. Granddad, husband, drinking buddy, whatever - he's Morgan flippin Freeman. And he knows his meat.
  16. I've seen him interviewed and would like him to adopt me.
  17. Ooh DJKQ, he's right got your goat, eh? (why have I assumed jr is a he?) I don't see it as any less meritorious than say, the articles on Facebook that were doing the rounds a couple of years ago in the broadsheets. I just think it seems very after the fact (as indeed, did they). The pompous reveal was a bit irksome, but as feature fodder for the chattering classes (my mum, thanks to the Daily Mail, still thinks Facebook is the work of the devil) who's to say what's going to sell?
  18. A troll is like a MILF, except it's a particularly hirsute DILF

The rather tabloid use of punctuation in the thread title would suggest otherwise. Ach, all journalists aren't bad. I know some nice ones. Maybe it's someone from The Lady magazine - they've been branching out of late.
  20. Giant rats. Coming soon to a toilet near you. 2 1/2 ft feckers. Sightings all over Great Bratain. They may attack our children (and you thought foxes were bad). They have plans to take over the country (b@stard EU). War is coming. It may already be too late.
  21. Oh my god, are you peer-reviewed in Nature?
  22. Al Satan, Woof?
  23. I had some really good lamb chops tonight at Hisar. Man I love their lamb chops.
  24. Yes fairy, that wasn't nasty - you're a little new around here I think, but you might need to develop thicker skin - if you think Jah's nasty (and he's a massive softie), you don't want to encounter others on a bad day. I'm going to a disco at the zoo. How about you, you, you? I'm hoping they're going to play the funky gibbon, the lion sleeps tonight, crocodile rock and tiger feet.
