    Sherlock

Did anyone? Rex Harrison perhaps, but he didn't sing so much as speak in time. But Jeremy looked so lovely, ahh, Jeremy, shift yer bloomin arse. Cumberbatch can shift his bloomin arse too.
  2. The first time I saw that advert I genuinely thought they'd done a split screen thing and it WAS him. Granted I was multi-tasking at the time and noticed something was a bit odd, but it is freakily similar.
  3. Ooh yes, Sandie Shaw, she'll be great - she has a whole host of lady lovelies with her. I currently have a 70s outfit, a 40s outfit and an 80s outfit - but it will feel a bit weird watching the Buzzcocks in a biba maxi and floppy hat. Currently seeking out a jewelled turban.
  4. I accidentally walked to Sydenham the other day, and it really did have some very beautiful houses. And I was impressed that Blue Mountain had an outpost there. But one cup of coffee is not enough to make me move there. (oh, and thanks Mick , you're a honey)

No Darcy, it's called sarcasm, you possibly don't have room for that in Sydenham what with all the piles of cash and everything. You know what though, for all the piles of lucre, where's the class? Don't you know it's terribly arriviste to talk about money? Suggests it's a novelty you haven't got used to yet.
  6. Derek Hough owes me money - if you find him, tell him I'm looking for him.
  7. Oh my, I just want to lick the screen. Bluerevolution - it's Vintage at Goodwood festival this coming weekend.

    Sherlock

I love Sherlock and I don't care about his make up (I loved Jeremy Brett too - I had often walked down these streets before, but the pavement always stayed beneath my feet before). But it's like the end of a Batman episode from the 60s - how's he going to get out of that one? I can't wait for the next series - when is it and will it be longer?
  9. I just want to get excited about outfits, and Peter Hook, and a bit about Buzzcocks (but they're old, and old punks look funny) and the Faces would be good, except for that ginger c**k, and the northern soul, and the roller disco. Anybody..?

  11. Michael Praed looked like a girl, a new romantic kind of era girl - long layered dark brown hair. He was bloody gorgeous. He went on to play Prince Michael of Moldavia in Dynasty (which is when Jason Connery came in to play Robin - apparently Jason wanted to move away from all the magic and make it more "gritty" - would have helped if he didn't have woman's hair too). As Prince Michael, I believe he was gunned down on his wedding day in a terrorist attack. Then he went on to appear in Staggered opposite Martin CLunes, and now he's reduced to Mills & Boon (I know this because I looked him up). So pretty, so vacant.
  12. space.... ...cakes?
  13. You know, I could murder a spam fritter right about now.
  14. Nice editing that man!
  15. Firstly, I LOVE the 12 - the bendy bus massively cut journey times on that route, although that seems to have ebbed away over the past year or so. But I have, once or twice, not paid my fare on there. Not intentionally, but having got on the bus thinking I had a juiced-up oyster card, finding that I didn't, and having the choice to get off at the next stop, go and find an oyster topper upper and catch the next bus, making me late, or not. I didn't do it. You can shoot me if you like.
  16. My best friend's sister's husband's cousin was Bungle in Rainbow.
  17. Greg must die, he must die, he must die - force fed tottaTA until his fat head explodes
  18. The Bugsy Malone soundtrack - I know it's wrong, and I know I shouldn't, but no matter how evil my mood, I can't help dancing. My colleague keeps saying "plums" (for perfectly valid work reasons) - I know it's wrong, and I know I shouldn't, but I can't help laughing. Every time.
  19. Ahh Woof, maybe if you invite us all to the party, it'll make you feel better..? Especially if you add "You Give a Little Love" from the Bugsy Malone sountrack to the playlist. Today I am feeling 30 and waterproof.
  20. The Matrix (twist being there's no discernible plot and it's a pile of over-rated pants)
  21. Prefer Jeremy Kyle myself - there's something about freelancing that makes him strangely alluring.
  22. Well Mick, if you don't mind heading out with me and my cat o nine tails, then come and join the fun.
  23. Now now Woof, share and share alike. Just because someone wasn't saying they love you for once...
  24. "quite" means two almost opposite things - "completely" and "a bit" - while a lot of people do know that, I don't think they pause to give it enough thought
