  2. happy birthday Onion - if I'd known I'd have made sure I got a drink for you fri!
  3. hmmm, you'll have to show me the dance to that again HB - still can't quite follow you (then again keeping my handbag which now weighs about 10kg is probably a mistake!!)... have (virtually) scratched that mince pie itch!
  4. ... did someone say there're mince pies in here?? Mr Buggie doesn't like them so don't have them at home :( might just sit here and have one quickly!
  5. ... Mr Buggie isn't rising to the bait Annaj!!
  6. V good night - so glad I didn't have to leave early for once! Great to see everyone and to speak to a few new peeps and nice to try out a new pub. Mr Buggie thinks this it is now his favourite pub - this is often said about establishments though!
  7. ... wasn't telling you off!!! Imagined you writing that with a rye smile! x
  8. Pretty Nurses running trauma's - well there don't seem to be any nurses at all in the children's area!! Feel sorry for Jimbob - can be difficult to see where Annaj's tongue is sometimes when she's typing. (from the one in the green apron seen in the background wednesday!)

    Survivors

Think this has come too soon after Dead Set - kept waiting for the zombies to appear. Also found it difficult to take the guy who was Mark's manager in Peep Show seriously. Agree with LuvPeckham about the mosque - especially as everyone else was waking up to find everyone dead... were we to believe they'd been praying all night?! If anyone wants to pm me to explain how to use the iplayer on the wii that'd be much appreciated! x
  10. I'm lethargic too, but that's a good thing as I'll be napping this afternoon before starting nights tonight... roll on Friday morning!
  11. Am sure they deliberately turn the volume up for the national anthem after the shipping forecast... agree v unfair D_C!
  12. Oooo Noah Wyle - much more my kinda bloke... if only ED dr's really did look like him, would help the day go much easier!!
  13. know probably shouldn't complain, but had packaged delivered and the postie must have loved our doorbell/letterbox - after not appearing 1/2 sec after he first rang the bell he kept going at them both until I appeared at the most 10 secs later (was coming down from 1st floor and slowed by cold!) glad don't have a dog or kids as they'd have been going mad at the noise!

I'm very confused about this - do you see all 3 plays in one night (are they each one-act-plays)or do you have to keep returning?? Do consider it whenever I go past the Old Vic, but sadly nearly always off to do other things!!
  15. Obv being a mere girl, I can't even begin to imagine the pain you guys are going through, but at the moment have the joy of not knowing if I'll be able to speak or if a series of croaks and squeaks will come out instead - especially fun yesterday at work! Anyhoo, I remembered this sketch which I thought you'd appreciate: Man-Flu BTW - lemsip cold and flu capsules x 2, with ibuprofen x 2, x 3 a day is the way to go!
  16. Don't fancy the Castle but should be able to confirm this wk that I'll be free on the 5th, and with a day off on the 6th won't have to be a cinderella for once!!
  17. ... really?? Only profession I thought it lended itself to was infection control!!
  18. Mine is my surname with an added bit - having hated my surname as school for the amount of hassle I got about it is funny that it's now an affectionate nickname at work and on here (esp as on here it was my choice). Am even now begining to think I'll miss it come the end of March - will be staying Buggie on here though!

Friend was over from Texas last w/e, he was saying how he watched the debates with split screen and how while Obama spoke McCain was gurning and scribbling furiously!! Have another friend who after much googling has been disappointed not to find a link between McCain and the oven chips!!!
  20. Have managed to double book myself for Fri and unfortunately my friends home-made mexican food is going to win :'( ... have made sure off day and day after Dec drinks so will be back with increased vigor next month!!
  21. ....quick Moos - more calpol he's waking up a bit!
  22. ...back to the brownies - has anyone else tried Jack's?? Moist/fudgy and melt in the mouth... yum!!
  23. have listened to the first one - did giggle several times, am wondering if they did actually leave the msg's or if they hung up the phone after hearing the beep (esp if Andrew Sachs only heard everything when listening to it on iplayer - if he can use that surely he'd normally be able to pick up his voicemails?)
  24. IIRC by monday the media were saying that they were up to 40 complaints, think the wall-to-wall coverage of it in the press has helped increase the complaints (remember a similar build-up occured after the poppadom-gate on Celeb BB a few years back). In a way its understandable that the press have leapt onto this - I dare say their financial correspondents have never been so overworked before, and it has made a bit of a change. If it had been so distressing to Andrew Sachs I'm sure it wouldn't have taken until the following week for it to be a news story, and I'm sure its more upsetting for him to be doorstepped as soon as he leaves home by a press pack than it was to listen to msg's left on his phone by a couple of overpaid/overgrown little boys. It's not clear on the transcipts what is said in the voicemail and what is banter between them in the studio - while this doesn't completely clear them, it may explain why it took a while for the fuss happen.
  25. With a big hospital just over the yonder, of course there are independent women (and men) living in ED, they might not be wealthy, and with shift patterns free time might be lacking, but of course they exist. Find it quite small minded to think that anywhere in London exclusively caters to one particular demographic .... how on earth would all the bars/pubs and restaurants on Lordship Lane stay open past 9pm without a large demographic of non-family working peeps??
