my car spent at least 6 weeks with one of the back windows open about an inch last year - kept thinking there was something wrong as it sounded funny (...like a window was open even!) but didn't work it out for ages!!

hope you've complained to the voucher distribution peeps as they did a pretty bad job - on Friern and have never received mine :'( maybe proof of address should be offered at the shops distributing the bags so that SE22 residents still have priority.

Don't know if Mickey Flanagan is up there again - would guess so as he was nominated in the if.comedy award last year. Is v v nice bloke to boot. Would suggest leaving some free time to catch show's that get a buzz about them once their up there, plus late n live is felt to be bit past it (now in huge room at the gilded ballon which means it doesn't have the same atmosphere), while Phat Cave which is also at the guilded ballon seems to have more of the old late n live. Not going this year (pre wedding economising :'() so got to make up for it with previews.

hmm Wilson Dixon is fab - last time I saw him there there were an american couple in and I'm not sure they got the joke! Will have to work out some sort of a wink so that I know who the EDF'ers are!!

(Posting here as it isn't ED specific) My friend's run "The Funny Side of Covent Garden" comedy club and their doing lots of Edinburgh Previews over the next few weeks... Thurs I'm helping out on the door they've got Nick Doody and John Gordillo each previewing their shows. don't know what times they open, but did use them when I was about to sell my previous car and they did a really quick good job (used their straight forward inside and out clean) - even got a free magic tree air freshener!!

I had the best bottle of wine ever (well half of it!) at Franklins the other week - it was a Pinot Gris and was easily the nicest wine I'd ever tasted! x

...there often are alot around - don't often get from one end of the lane to the other without police or ambulance going by - esp with our proximity to Kings x

Not been compared to anyone recently - back when "Men Behaving Badly" was on use to be told I looked like Caroline Quentin, then a couple of times got told I looked like Sonia from "Eastenders" - much preferred the former!! As to who I'd like to look like - I'll often see gorgeous brunettes on telly and think if I woke up looking like them things would be good - but annoyingly can't remember any of them at the moment!!

Not sure if I'll make this - working until around 10pm... does anyone know if they start charging for admission on a fri night after a particular time?

Is anyone else going and fancies car pooling?? Me and blokie are looking to head up on the Friday morning and return on the Monday. We're staying in Tangerine Fields so hoping not to be too bogged down with luggage. At the moment driving up and will have 2 spare places in the car.
