Has anyone reported this to SNT? Would be worth doing.

Popped in there last night before going to Springers for a meal. I find the Vale inoffesnsive, and it is the nearest pub to me so I'll keep going there. Staff are always friendly - Danny's alright but I tend to agree with comments about owner. The gardens is lakes in the summer!

Another possible scam happened to us last night in Abbotswood Road. Bloke came round, knocked on the door and said to my missus that I had sponsored him (some football penalty scoring thing). Wife said that I was upstairs putting the baby to bed and he asked her to go up and get me. I imagine if she had he would have been in and had away with ipods, dig cameras, video cam, laptop etc etc. Anyway - had the cheek to come back 5 mins later saying I owed him a fiver. I told him I did not - he was quite insistent but eventually disappeared. Pretty poor scam I know but I guess it is worth making people aware!

My missus and I have enough of our own anniversaries (wedding, first date, first child etc etc) without needing the card companies and restaraunts telling as when to have another one! We will be spending the day as ever - cheaply!

There you have it - the simple solution - everybody, including the disabled presumably or those with a hoard of kids - should get a bike or walk. BRILLIANT!

Have to say the staff in there are cliquey and mostly useless! Maybe it's for the best that it is going!

It's Sainsbury's staff LG - or so my missus tells me and she should know cos she is home all day. They even sit in their cars for to have a ciggie! Yellow lines is a piss take though because that will just lead to people parking further down the road where the houses are and increase the risk to children / animals etc. I am going to take up arms!

My girlfriend phoned me up once and asked since when had I acquired pistols. I asked what she was talking about and she replied that I had texted her the previous night saying I wanted to dual her aunt!

A journalist from Southwark News was in Abbotswood at lunch time and we had a chat about the problems. And just to clarify, I am not complaining about people parking on the street, more the fact that cars are allowed to park in such a dangerous position. Not a problem I suppose if instead of a car you ride a high horse instead.
