Keep your rant/moan identity > separate from your business/work identity! Night at the pub!!! I do hope your partner has stuck to lemonade!! PTA..... You must have children!! This thread is hilarious! Not only are children not welcome anywhere in ED it would seem, to have children you should be teetotal!! Hmmmm I've had 2 glasses of wine tonight, shock horror! Let's hope Social Services are not called in! Fortunately my partner hasn't had any alcohol, and can drive so we are all set for the A&E run ;-)

Fortnightly blue bin collection not enough?
ClareC replied to Mrs TP's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
We are a family of 4, 2 just babies yet our blue bin is already nearly full and won't be collected for 6 days. The brown bin never as barely anything in it 90% of the time.... Seems to suffer with tiny fruit flies though :( -
Shot by the Sheriff do great baby passport pics, both mine dine there, one age 1week, the other 8 weeks.
-
I'm on Goodrich, ours was collected first thing.

I agree, the posts are extremely aggressive and quite disturbing. Seems the vent is more often or not aimed at mums and babies (distinctly remember the parent parking thread).

Dorothy is fantastic, excellent service and lovely shoes. Having made a visit as a result of this thread, I will now make sure we get our children's shoes from her from now on.

Both phones do all that your looking for...... Play with both and see which you prefer, Samsung has a brighter screen I'm told. Mail system arguably better on iPhone. Potential downside to iPhone is you have to have iTunes set up on it. You will get a better deal on the Samsung!

Just googled it...... Both introduced to UK in 1995, Hooch first manufactured that year. Two Dogs was first manufactured 2 years previously in Australia. Hooch no longer manufactured, Two Dogs is...... I want to find some now!!!
-
Have a great nostalgic celebration :-)
-
Apparantly Tesco stock it too!
-
Lidl may be worth a look, just googled it and orange, kiwi and strawberry flavour can be purchased for ?10.99 at www.theonlineofflicence.co.uk

I think Two Dogs and Hooch were both alcoholic lemonade. Can't remember which was first..... Do remember drinking far too much of both!! Hooch had a cartoon lemon on it originally which the manufacturers were made to change since it was deemed to encourage children to drink it. 20/20 we used to drink whilst getting ready to go out! Don't remember liking it even then!

Lewisham, Kings, St Thomas? How to make the decision...
ClareC replied to Ellie78's topic in The Family Room Discussion
I think Kings is Lambeth too..... -
Now that's a blast from the past!! A Uni day tipple.....was that the beginnings of alcopops? Closely followed by hooch! I've not seen it in years. Presume the big supermarkets dont sell it. Are there any old school off licences locally? Thinkvthey would be the most likely stockist.

Lewisham, Kings, St Thomas? How to make the decision...
ClareC replied to Ellie78's topic in The Family Room Discussion
I had number one at Tommys, started in the home from home which was not at all medicalised and midwife led. The medical section is just down the corridor, which was a relief when things went wrong! Ended up with a csection on the Sunday night, went home Tues afternoon. The postnatal care was handed to Kings and all went very smoothly. Second time round I had an elective c section at Kings. Great experience and out the next day. Can't comment on Lewisham but can't fault Kings or Tommys. Would suggest you visit the 3 places and go with the one you feel most comfortable and at ease with. You can change your mind and transfer if you want to. Happy to answer any specific questions, just PM -

The Mum's > around Clapham pretty much all have bugaboos and > pretty much all drive 4 x 4's so they're not doing > much walking I know that! If you are interested in children but have no interest in the paraphernalia that goes with them, why comment on a thread asking advice when you had none to give, simply an unnecessary and nasty comment to make? So now you "know" anyone with a 4x4 doesn't walk much? How do you know this? A more positive outlook in life and not making assumptions and generalisations about people goes a long way!
