  1. Are the shops, pubs and restaurants etc on LL open today?
  2. Robbed on a bus? What happened? Hope your friends are both OK, thx for letting us know.
  3. Hiya, I had the same with Lucas, he is a windy little chap too! I faffed for a bit not drinking mike or orange juice and then upon recommendation of a GP friend I swapped to unpasteurised milk. It did seem to help but it may just have improved as he got older. I went back on ordinary milk (unpasteurised a pain to get hold of) and all is fine. He still suffers with wind and we get the odd explosive poo but I suspect it's just something that gets better as they get older. If she is happy that's the main thing :-)
  4. Congratulations Emma. :-)
  5. Makes no difference how good or expensive the phone is, they snatch hoping it's good! Bunch of cowards.
  6. Is there one near here? Need fuel and can't face dragging baby and toddler into petrol station to pay! Thanks Clare
  7. Surely its not losing the phone (crap or not) that's the issue, it's the content on the phone that is worse. I had my phone snatched from me in Camberwell a few years back, I said to the police at the time I was silly to use it, to which they told me in no uncertain terms why shouldn't I, people should be able to use their phones in public otherwise why have them in the first place! I totally agree although am far more careful now!
  8. Totally agree, but then also think there are certain repeat offenders and do wonder if it's purposely done...... Perhaps if we just ignored them when they offend they will get bored and play elsewhere :-)
  9. I've got my daughters first happy nappy which I am banned from using for my son on account of it being more feminine colours! Hmmm I put it on here a few weeks ago and still have it, was asking ?3 if your interested. I always used a disposable nappy underneath, although we never had any incidences with this nappy, we did with a later larger one and I am happy to confirm the system works and the happy nappy remained unsoiled! I'm after an extra large happy nappy if anyone wants to get rid of one......
  10. I've lost two in the last few weeks too, also both toddler girl one's! Where do they all disapear too?
  11. Congratulations Ruth :-) Hope you are home ASAP x
  12. I had my riverford box stolen a few years ago, when I contacted them quite a few had been stolen that day. Seems the delivery chap was more than likely being followed. We organised that he had a key to our side gate and never had the problem reoccur. If you haven't got a side gate maybe a locked box in the front garden? Not failsafe by any stretch of the imagination but makes it a lot more effort to steal veggies!!
  13. My daughter is 18 months and I am beginning to find it a bit awkward getting her in and out her high chair with the baby set attachment. I've had to dispense with the cushions as with those in place it's impossible to get her out! What age have others taken the baby set off? I do have a harness however feel reluctant to remove the baby set at this stage, although can't see it being possible to keep it in place too much longer!
  14. Thank you, will get googling for a Houdini strap (and look in Boots next time I'm there) :-)
  15. Where can you get the bedding for ?30? Maybe the cost I saw included the duvet and pillow.
  16. My daughter is constantly slipping her arms out both the car seat and buggy straps. She is too young to understand the safety factor at 18mths and pulling the straps really tight doesnt seem to make any difference.... Anyone else have this problem and did you stop it?
  17. My daughter loved her's too! She would sit bouncing for ages. She is 18 mths now and still try's to get in it now it's out again for my son! Think it was a lifesaver until around 6 mths, as soon as she crawled she wouldn't sit still in anything! Def buy second hand, they are so easy to wash.
  18. I won't eat it due to the cruelty involved. I do eat meat though and never buy cheap meat.
  19. Can't say as though I welcome the news. Wonder if they will the management team in place or plan to change the pubs to their way of doing things. Hopefully the former...
  20. Great idea, and agree there needs to be some sort of separation age wise, however would request the separation is not separate sessions...... With a baby and toddler (as many have) it would be good to be able to please both...... Gambados has an area specifically for under 3's which works well when policed.
  21. Just moved my daughter into the 18-36 mths gro bags, definitely tempted by this once I convert the cot bed to a bed! They are expensive but not in comparison to the number of gro bags you end up buying! Does anyone know if you can buy spare covers? Just thinking of the eventuality of bedding getting soiled.
  22. 7pm for my two, 18 mths and 11 weeks. If I'm doing bedtime alone the baby goes down a bit earlier. Am thinking of changing bedtime to 630 after reading this thread ;-)
