He was driving it and wondering what the buttons on dash were and then could 'feel' the car steering itself. I think there are cameras with sensors on it for steering? so yeah totally gonna happen. threads like this make me feel really old, like I am talking about a future that I can imagine but won't experience.

may I refer you to the Scottish independence referendum 2014.

I thought jam jars were traditionally used for cocktails when they were invented in new orleans or something, back in the day. Hence the explosion of them over here. Ah, for some reason that reminds me of the furore over the Actress opening/serving wine in tumblers :))

Are there any Dilbert readers about? I used to work for Dilbert-reading IT techy types a long time ago and this thread has just reminded me about it. Cannot seem to paste the images (again), do a search on dilbert job titles you get the picture :)) a random job title generator is what you need. oh another thing this thread has reminded me of. Anyone who has watched Chewin' the fat will understand the "Good guy"/"wank". I know which one Jeremy is ;-)

I didn't know they had any. yep I reckon there's an element of him playing up to cameras. Haven't watched gogglebox from the beginning but since the time I have been watching it, I have noticed more of an element of 'awareness' of the cameras/their existing 'celebrity' from the participants. Inevitable, I suppose.

This reminds me of a food festival stall at Burghley House in Lincs, a local butcher specialised in black pudding & strawberry jam sausages which apparently won a great taste award!

Sounds like a hell of a lot of effort to me :)) Key question is which flavour MM?

I was horrified when I first saw her on the recent series. I think a few of the others have succumbed to the teeth-whitening, fake tan, identikit looks. As for Giles, he's trying to hard to be alan bennett. Isn't he?

do frazzle and salad cream sandwiches (on plastic white, of course) count? if not, I can deep fry them for bonus points.

You soon learn! -
hell yeah, just move the clothes out of the machine if its stopping you from getting your laundry done. I'd draw the line at folding it though.

Far more civilised times back then townleygreen. Sounds like a great place to work and a brilliant ice-breaker for an interview. I've had some ridiculous interviews in the past where I have been asked stupid random things like 'if you were given an elephant what would you do' type crap. Thankfully I didn't get the job after telling them I'd ram it up their feckless arses (I didn't really).

BrandNewGuy Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I failed the test first time for cutting up a milk > float while turning back into the test centre. Thanks BNG, that made me laugh out loud! I passed first time at the tender age of 17 despite an altercation with a bin lorry and not one but three (separate) incidences of cats deciding to cross the road as I approached. I think I fucked up the parallel parking as well. -

once you've made it a few times you can do it with your eyes shut its so simple 1 squash + 500g potatoes 180gflour + 50g semolina (or use more flour if none) however much cheese & butter is up to you but roughly 200g breadcrumbs 30g risotto is great at this time of year too. or warm salads with loads of nuts, crunchy veg and decent oil. -
hang on?you could get flavoured smash? even better in all its artificial glory.

good old Londis, they had upped their game last time I was there (a long time ago). Is it all farrow & balled now ;)
