  1. There are two things here 1. Taking away the choice from the consumer who may vote with their feet 2. Some people give themselves a spending limit per day / week / month which is easier to track with cash as once it's gone you can't spend anymore but with card unless you check your balance carefully you can easily overspend It's all about serving the customer not the business as the old adage of "the customer is always right" seems to have been forgotten by so many businesses
  2. And big brother can track everything and every where you spend .... be afraid be very afraid

  7. I keep on walking past a commercial rubbish bin on upland road that's full of festering rubbish and doesn't look like its been emptied in ages. Today I saw a rat underneath it. Can anyone help trace which business it belongs to so that they can arrange to get it emptied and removed?
  8. I suspect if you collect 100 of the steak pie toys you can claim that you "had all the pies" Ridiculous promotion, didn't Marks see the whole plastic planet issue. Guess they don't really care about their environmental friendly footprint Let's hope that they get the same treatment that McDonald's did when they produced plastic toys and people send them back to head office for recycling
  9. The East Dulwich wardens proudly show off their new uniforms before looking for garden waste infringements But are unsure if their new bikes would be useful now the CPZ wasn't going ahead

  13. It will either thrive or fail, if the owners have done their research right and the offering is good or better than what's here it will thrive , but judging it before it has a chance is just typical of forum users. I sometimes feel you all would be happy when all local businesses have failed and you can whine about the empty derelict high street and what can we do to attract shops back !
  14. A classic example of trolling there Sue Congratulations on putting someone's business down I applaud you for stopping this modern day blight of new businesses opening up and stopping shops being empty. Keep up the good work. 😂

  16. James Tomorrow is blue bin day for some of those who were missed two weeks ago If tomorrow they aren't collected (again) then your offer makes sense

    Brexit View

Is it all hail John Bercow? With his ruling that MPs cannot be repeatedly asked to vote on the same question in a Parliamentary session, and the fact that the vote for a second referendum that occurred last week was rejected, then does his ruling also preclude a new vote on a second referendum in this parliamentary session ? It may well be by supporting one course of action, he has closed off another 😱
