James Point 40 talks about encouraging zero emission or lower polluting cars and says "Lower parking fees ...across the whole of the Borough" Does this imply a Borough wide CPZ is on the cards if Labour wins?

Was anyone at the Dulwich Hill Hustings this week, what were the main points that cane out of it and what was said about building on green spaces, LTNs and a Borough wide CPZ ?

Jazzer Just had a similar conversation about end of year budget and the concept of "pre election" was raised (as in look what we are doing to improve things) No idea if there's a correlation or not but it was an interesting point. Also why were the Rye Lane roadworks not done when the lane was closed to all traffic is a mystery 🤔

Over the past week, I've noticed a lot more heavy vehicles (lorries and big soil transporters) coming out of the side roads down from Barry Road onto Lordship Lane. It's possibly due to the road works at the corner of Peckham Rye / East Dulwich Road but strikes me as dangerous as the side roads aren't wide enough for such heavy vehicles and pedestrians wouldn't expect them. Are others noticing the same?

Interesting question. If it was a case of landlords exercising their right to close due to either previous incidents or fear of damage and trouble and or the police asking them to close, then what are forumites proposing should happen ? Or are we all metaphorically muttering into our pints by discussing it on here ? Ultimately it shouldn't really happen but for reasons we as non publicans or police may not understand or agree with, it does.

I read this week that if you want to aid germination put then somewhere that keeps the bottom of the seed tray warm including but not limited to , on top of the fridge freezer

Best to look up for each individual seed type Plus if they are old they may take longer or not germinate at all Be thankful, my potting compost is also growing toadstalls this year 😁
