The awkward thing about bringing people over to look after us as we age, is that eventually they will age and require looking after which means we need more people to come over and look after them and when they age .... The 19th of July (tomorrow) is being dubbed freedom day after a long lockdown. Numbers of covid cases are on the rise and hospital cases are also starting to show an uptick. Question is will you A) Keep taking the same precautions as you have been for the last few months (masks, a bit of social distancing, respect others space) B) Throw caution to the wind and gladly get rid of restrictions. or C) A combination of both depending on where you are and what you are doing.

Oh Sir That last one was a bit risky in a modern PC world

I think the call to remove it then have a proper mediated study and consultation is the way forward. Especially as the majority of "non compliant" cars will soon be removed from the area as part of the ULEZ. What then? the council claiming a massive success for their schemes whilst tfl also claim the same (effectively double counting) Let's get a London wide scheme in first to see its impact before adding potentially unnecessary layers to the cake.
