Even better: Good cop, Baby cop From looking on the outtakes reel, she's Will Ferrell's daughter - how cute. I love the image of the suit falling on his ass - ha ha ha -

That's genius WMTG. It was the snow yesterday that made me think about this subject, and brought back some mememories. I have always hated the snow, I don't know why. I hate the way it sounds, that squeaky runchy sound like someone taking off woolly gloves with their teeth. So I avoid the snow at all costs. It was only recently that my mum told me that in the winter of 1982/3 I was nearly 2 and it snowed a lot. So they bundled me up in jacket and coat, made me a snowman and trust me outside and onto the snow. Typically kiddy reaction: I freaked out and cried, and cried and cried... Normal parent reaction: Pick up said crying kid and take her inside. My parents reaction: head in side, leave me outside, lock door, go and get camera. We had one of those glass panelled back doors and they have pohotos of me standing rooted to the spot in fear, face all scrunched up under my hood. Then photos of my scratching at the door to get in, while they carry on taking pictures! Scared for life, I tell thee! -
Well I like to think that summer's nearly here with the evenings growing later and later, so that's one thing that's half full in my life.

Morning everyone, How delicate are you all feeling today? I looked at the snow this morning and dutifully shut the curtains and am gonna pretend it's not there. My liver will be very grateful. Mister VBC had to get me a kebab and put me to bed - yeah!!! Classy Classy Classy. I do have to say it was great to meet everyone, Brum, Hannah (hope you both got back without fallin over), Hibbs, Strawbs, Brenden and the fleeting appearances of everyone else. Darn it. I do wish I was out on Friday with you all and the rest of the rabble.

... gonna be late. Gotta to get dressed. Don't have any outfits that go with snow!

But i'm a bit brown and curly (not all over... curly I mean, oh god VBC shut up).

KK, Where were you? Me and the Snowman Army didn't stand a chance. One Snowman dude was even sat down on the job! We did find a great snowball fight on our travels on North Cross Road. One little kid on the opposition kept yelling over and over: "Hit ME!" "Hit ME!" "HIT ME" I don't think he quite grasped the concept of a snowball fight yet >:D< -
I think I might be tempted. Need to prise Mr VBC's fingers from his laptop first mind you... Beer's usually a good persuader though
-
Even I hate your boss MCG, how rude of him to spoil such a cool day. I've been out with Mr VBC (who has luckily cadged the day off work- yeah!) and we have been making snow angels on Goose green, up to Blue Mountian for a coffee and taking photos of the awesome snowmen. My favourite isthe one on the island/roundabout... right next to the palm tree (will upload photos when able). As for drinks: When? Where? I'll be there. This makes up for the usual WrightStuff/LooseWomen Monday drizzle

I almost wish that I did have a job so that I could ring in and say I can't make it! *hunting for wellies as we speak* -
Location: Goose Green Time: 12 (high) noon Bring your snowballs and "LEEEEET's GET READY TO RUUUUUUUUUMBLE!
-
Strawbs, make the most of it. Get your wellies on and get making some snowmen/ladies. Mr VBC tried getting up early for the gym and found some guy outside taking photos and telling him the trains were out. So we are now putting on some wellies and with morning coffee breath, we are heading out to brave the snow. An expedition to the pub sounds mighty fine to me. Best get the ropes, harness and climbing gear ready... Snow Pictures of East D

Right now it's full of snow Edited: Just realised I'd been beaten to that one by MP. Are you outthere making snow angels yet, MP?
-
All busses are definitely out. Can't get on to Southern Rail site - no doubt it has crashed. Off to make some snow angels now before the kids get out there and ruin it all

Funny or Evil? Maybe it's the lack of maternal instinct (or the child inside me that refuses to grow up) but I find this absolutely hilarious. Now clearly there is prompting from her mother here, which I think is the best part. And it got me thinking... Have you ever made your kids do evil/funny/naughty things? That you know as a "proper grown-up" you shouldn't really, but you found it funny. (And obviously, I'm not talking the realms of child abuse here - although some may think this sketch is). Or did your parents ever do something to you that was mortifyingly embarrassing?

Will Ferrell meets his Landlord Ok, so has anyone else seen this, yet. It gets funnier and funnier each time I watch it. I love the fact that they coerced a her to say that (probably with a bottle) >:D<

From one cherry to another, I completely agree Cherrybear, I am a massive fan of East Asian food. In fact I am such a massive fan I could eat it all day, every day. >:D< Any kind of East Asian food and I am happy - as long as it's good quality. But I think you are right, There really isn't as much here in ED, either different kinds of food or of decent quality. It seems to be all about the Indian here, which I don't mind too much, but I do find Indian food pretty samey. My favourite so far since moving here is Mr Lee, there squaab (sp?) is really really good.

James Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Please tell me it's going to be a veggie-friendly > Vietnamese!!!!!!! Oooh, do we get to chose? A vietnames who'd be great. As for chopsticks, the people were really lovely but the food was awfully bland. It was a shame.
