I'm up that end too. They fly right past my bedroom and living room windows. Doesn't bother me in the slightest.
  3. Yes, he seems to have been made the scapegoat because he lied to David Cameron about his involvement in phone hacking when he hired him. Obviously, he's guilty as hell but I fail to see how Rebecca Brooks couldn't have possibly known about what was going on at the paper. She was shagging Coulsen at the time and they worked together very closely. She must have known.
  4. Mac - he lived practically across the road from me. I'd often see the slimy fecker and the other "gentlemen" of the press camped outside his front door. His house may have gone up for sale two years ago when the case first came to court but I think I can remember quite clearly when the removal vans arrived.
  5. Money and friends in high places. This - http://www.standard.co.uk/news/londoners-diary/brooks-the-barrister-and-old-school-ties-7778165.html And this - http://www.thedrum.com/news/2013/06/05/prime-minister-s-barrister-brother-heads-legal-chambers-representing-rebekah-brooks The comments are well worth reading in the latter too.
  6. He definitely did. He needs to be banned from the rest of this World Cup plus another 20 matches and I'm sorry Otta but that should include Liverpool. On top of that he should get a hefty fine and a muzzle. This obviously didn't work last time out so muzzle the nutter. http://i1369.photobucket.com/albums/ag237/jahlushhead/Suarez_zps6566998a.jpg

  8. The evidence against her just seemed overwhelming. It beggars belief how they hit upon this verdict.
  9. This is an absolute outrage. How hell has she got away with this. I'm completely gobsmacked.
  10. The MET sees sense at last. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/tottenham-hotspur/10908591/Yid-chanting-by-Tottenham-Hotspur-fans-no-longer-an-arrestable-offence-at-White-Hart-Lane-says-Metropolitan-Police.html
  11. You're not alone, AM. I've not had a proper holiday in... well, I'm a little embarrassed to say really. I don't like going on my own and I know in the past most of my friends have felt that if they came away with me they'd be hospitalised with alcoholic poisoning. That certainly wouldn't be the case now as there is no way I can handle the sauce like I used to. The last time I had any sort of trip abroad was to see the Rolling Stones in the south of France six years ago but that was for only three or four days and I travelled with my younger brother (it was a treat for his 40th birthday) and we stayed with friends who have a house nearby. I am however, hoping to get to Portugal for a long weekend in September. My niece and her husband are currently living there so I'm sorted for somewhere to stay and have lovely people to hang out with.
  12. To be honest I haven't a clue. At the start I thought Brazil v Argentina and I'll stick with that but anything could happen at this World Cup as has proved so far. France are looking a good bet though. Had the USA to win 2-1 tonight and then Portugal equalise with seconds to go. Bah!
  13. Sorry if you've heard this before but I had to share this if you haven't. Neymar goes into the Brazilian changing room to find all his team mates looking a bit glum. "What's up?" he asks. "Well, we're having trouble getting motivated for this game. We know it's important but it's only England. They're sh*t and we can't be bothered". Neymar looks at them and says "Well, I reckon I can beat them by myself, you lads go down the pub." (he says in Portuguese). So Neymar goes out to play England by himself and the rest of the Brazilian team go off for a few beers. After a few pints they wonder how the game is going, so get the landlord to put the TV on. A big cheer goes up as the screen shows "Brazil 1 (Neymar 10 minutes) - England 0 " He is beating England all by himself! Anyway, a few more beers later and the game is forgotten until someone remembers "It must be full time now, let's see how he got on" They put the TV on. "Result from the Estadio Do Maracana : Brazil 1(Neymar 10 minutes) - England 1 (Rooney 89 minutes)." They can't believe it, he has single handedly got a draw against England!! They rush back to the Stadium to congratulate him. They find him in the dressing room, still in his gear, sat with his head in his hands. He refuses to look at them. "I've let you down, I've let you down" "Don't be stupid, you got a draw against England, all by yourself. And they only scored at the very very end!" "No, No, I have, I've let you down!. I got sent off after 12 minutes
  14. Turn it up LOUD!
  15. I love the dawn chorus. It reminds me it's time to go to bed.
  16. It's just a short bus ride to Forest Hill station or East Dulwich (which will take a few minutes more).
  17. I've experience of dodgy freeholders shirking their "maintenance obligations and improperly imposed excessive charges with the aim of financial gain" and will advise you not to have anything to do with them. Walk away now. You will seriously regret it if you don't.
  18. Waddle made a good point though and showed plenty of passion. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p02191f7
  19. The England football team.
  20. What Louisa said. England - bag-a-shite - as per fecking usual.
  21. I think we'll win two-nil. There, I've said it.
  22. He doesn't look fit either. He struggled in the second half of the last match. I'd prefer to see Wilshire in his place even though I hate the little shit.
  23. And me. He's got to have Lallana in over Wellbeck but he won't will he. Put Rooney in his favoured position and if he's still shit stick Ross Barclay on in his place. Come on England!
  24. But mostly he was Ipswich Town.

Hate to say I told you so. > Congratulations to west ham, over and over again." Paul Mariner never played for Spurs. Yeah, West Ham last season did the treble over us. Fair enough. You've had your day in the sun. Well three to be precise. Anyway, back to World Cup. I hope our lads have written their postcards.
