  1. Fair play. A cracking cup final. Gotta say Ramsey's finish for the winner was world class. I like him. He's some player you've got there. You'd better hope Real Madrid don't come calling. He certainly wouldn't look out of place in their team.

  3. How about this? You can thank me later. ;-)

  5. Wishful thinking. It would be great if we had a bar like that around here. Looks like it's going be another shop though. Bah!
  6. Yes yes yes. The Breton cidre is blooming delicious if a trifle expensive.

  8. Why the hell anyone would want to read a book from a telephone screen is beyond me. The modern world is rubbish.
  9. Signed up. Haven't been able to make any predictions yet though. Not sure why.
  10. Isn't he one of your former players?

  12. I knew someone who had Motorhead's Ace Of Spades at their funeral. Good choice, I might add. "That's the way I like it, baby, I don't wanna live forever."

I say this because I love the > piano led version done by Trent Rezner, and Cash's > version is the only one people know. I think most people who love music know who wrote it and have sought out the original Nine Inch Nails version but the video that goes with Johnny Cash's take on it does it for most people. It's impact was so great as it came at the end of his life and is more emotionally charged because of it.
  14. Sooner than you think.
  15. For me it'll be:- Last Orders Please by The Faces, Into My Arms - Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds and as the curtain closes Jumping Jack Flash by The Rolling Stones.
  16. Pepe Mel? A Peppermint could manage West Brom better. Good luck in your search. There's a lot of work to be done there. I've said before that Levy is culpable. You can't keep sacking managers left right and centre. He reminds me of Mr Burns out of The Simpsons. We need stability at the club and we haven't had that during his reign as chairman. Sherwood should get his coaching badges first before thinking of becoming a manager again though apparently Brighton have already expressed an interest in taking him on after parting company with Garcia. I'd quite like Frank De Boer at the club but again he is someone who lacks Premiership experience and I'm fed up with flavour of the month managers. I think Mauricio Pochettino could be the one to get the job but again his "success" at Southampton was largely built on a squad of players that was already at the club. There is a good squad of players at Spurs, they just need the right man in charge who can work hand in glove with the chairman and DOF.| Edited to say: I'd get rid of the Director Of Football as well. Wasted far too much money on too many foreign players untested in the Premier League.
  17. That's taking the piss that is.
  18. Peter Cook's idea of a show for celebrities would be perfect for Richard & Judy.
  19. Welbeck ahead of Defoe is just wrong.
  20. We'll be home before the postcards.
  21. Finishing ahead of Man Utd is always good. ;-)
  22. Well done RC. A very worthy winner. Ten point gap says it all.
  23. Man City fully deserved it. Scored the most goals and played some fantastic football along the way. Does Mick Mac watch a different game to the rest of us? Hurling perhaps? A very disappointing season at Spurs. Played dead boring football under AVB. Not impressed with Sherwood. Took some hidings off the big teams and beaten three times by the Hammers. Wasted money on seven players who'd never played in the Premiership before. The chairman and DOF have a lot to answer for. We need stability at the club. I'm now of the opinion that Harry should never have been sacked despite him taking his eye off the ball when the England job came up.
  24. They've had to sack the artist in the Rolf Harris trial. http://i1369.photobucket.com/albums/ag237/jahlushhead/Artist_zps1c820a79.jpg
