  1. Arf! In total agreement with you there Quids.
  2. You call that rain? It's only been spitting very lightly all day. Bit of a damp squib really. Anyway, get out and vote.
  3. If his first task is to sort out the feud between Terry and Ferdinand. No problem. Get rid of both of 'em. Their future is firmly behind them anyway. Woohoo! Bolton 1 Spurs 4. Back of the net. And with Newcastle winning two-nil at Chelsea it's game on for fourth spot.

    Who am I?

Be like me. Don't give a shit. Classless and free.
  5. Great win for Martin Jol's Fulham and marking their first ever win at Anfield. Bring back Rafa? Anyone? :-S

He hasn't. He's still there. I live within spitting distance of him.
  7. Hmmm.... it'll always be a two horse race in Scotland though. As for Woy's appointment he does have the international and European experience that Harry doesn't and of course he is the cheaper option at ?2 million a year. Whereas Harry's buyout clause alone is according some newspaper reports as much as ?15 million. Daniel Levy has been very shrewd in looking after his club's "asset" to keep the FA away from what would perhaps have been the people's and the popular press's choice and as a Spurs fan I'd prefer it if Harry stayed right where he is.

  9. Great match. Most of the players would have been sent off for challenges that were going in. Leeds were dirty bastards and really hated by everyone who didn't support them.
  10. Guardiola quits. Over and out for Pep.

    a joke

A couple of nights ago, I was out for a few drinks with some friends at The Gowlett and had a few too many beers and some rather nice red wine. Knowing full well I may have been slightly over the limit, I did something I've never done before: I took a bus home. Sure enough I passed a police road block but as it was a bus, they waved it past. I arrived home safely without incident, which was a real surprise; as I have never driven a bus before and am not sure where I got it from.
  12. I bloody hope so. At least we'd have something to show for what has been an interesting season.
  13. Hoorah! At least we're top of something. We could win that.
  14. I had a very good blue cheese burger in The Great Exhibition recently. But if you look at that thread you'll find their food has been rather hit and miss since it opened.
  15. It's not what I've heard ratty. I think this is more like it though. Squad rotation. That coupled with Harry's heart scare, court case and yes, his connection with the England job have all conspired against us but mostly the main core of Spurs players are knackered. The way things are I think 5th or 6th is about where we'll end up which isn't good enough after a season that promised so much. That's the thing about being a Spurs fan - a long suffering one at that - it's the hope that kills you.
  16. I was aware of that. Anyway. Germans, penalties. Same old story.
  17. 4th? You're having a laugh. We're doing a splendid job screwing that up just like I predicted.
  18. you'd think Razors and Devil were the same person wouldn't you? (just finishing your sentence for you RD).
  19. Amazing result. You have to hand it to 'em. Good luck in the final.
  20. Totally agree with Salsaboy. Has saved me an absolute fortune since I bought my share of the freehold in the small block I live in a few years ago. I regularly used to pay maintenance fees of around ?3,000 a year and now it's around ?800.

For once I'm in agreement with you on that. Kyle Walker's PFA Young Player Award is also richly deserved. Unfortunately, they are the only trophies Spurs and Arsenal will be picking up this year.
  22. Bloody Tottenham Hotspur!
