Sorry to hear about your Dad Mick Mac. Was the cancer related to smoking? I have a similar story. When my dad got cancer and had one of his kidneys removed he was told to stop immediately. He said: "It's a bit late now," and carried on. Miraculously, he beat cancer, heart disease too. Strokes got him in the end (aged 80) after a two year struggle after his first one. I should probably stop smoking too. I'm hopelessly addicted (over 30 a day) but enjoy it and quite frankly couldn't give a toss if it kills me. If I stop enjoying it. I'll quit.
