  9. Yeah I agree and that's why I voted for the old cow.
  10. Innit tho *Bob*. I basically don't trust politicians as far as I can throw 'em, which probably isn't very far anyway. They're all cunts as far as I can see.
  11. Yeah but he still scored nine goals that season even though he was pissed most of the time. I saw his last game in a Spurs shirt in an FA Cup game at Crystal Palace where we lost one-nil and he never played for us again after that. I was gutted when he went to West Ham. He was my boyhood idol.

That is so breathtakingly inaccurate that I almost refuse to believe you actually wrote that Piers. Perhaps you are too young to remember the three day working week under the Heath government or you fail to remember your political history. Jeez! Now as it goes I voted for Thatcher in '79 because at the time I thought it was the right vote. I remember the dustmens strikes and all the rubbish piling up on the street, the poverty and long dole queues etc etc but it was a vote that I very quickly came to regret and I refrained from voting again until 1997 when I voted for Tony Blair. Each time I've voted a new goverment has got in and each time I've been disappointed with the bastards in power. But never will I ever vote for Tories again ever. I'll be voting Green next time and if that is to the detriment or a plus to the Labour or Conservative parties then I really couldn't give a flying fcuk.
  13. Well done Liverpool and Chelsea. Penalty or not Liverpool were awesome and Gerard's goal was a fantastic finish. Casillas pulled off some great saves for Madrid and if it wasn't for him it could have been a lot worse. I'm rather suprised that no one has mentioned Eduardo's spectacular finish last Sunday. Although I can't stand the Arsenal I think Eduardo is a bit special. A natural goalscorer, he's reminds me of a young Robbie Fowler and he has the killer finishing of Jimmy Greaves although Greavsie was a lot quicker and far more prolific than either of them.

  18. I've always loved sport (especially football) so I'm stuck with it. But, obviously I do plenty of other things too. For instance I love music and I'm a voracious reader of books. "Outside of a dog a book is a man's best friend. Inside of a dog it's too dark to read." Groucho Marx
