Re: The Stones Roses, it wasn't just the music it was the scene that evolved from that period along with the Happy Mondays (another overated band IMO) that they are so revered but one half decent first album and a piss poor second and a singer who can't hold a note does not a band make. But, having been very much around the rave scene at the time I can honestly say I had it LARGE! :))
Oh I don't know Harry Hill's alright, just a bit too surreal at times, see also Eddie Izzard. TV Burp by the way, isn't written by him and perhaps is all the more funnier for it. But his delivery and performance on the show is very good.
