  1. I forgot to remember to forget.
  2. Strange night, seemed to have been quiet a few office parties and such like going on at the same time in the Plough, people wearing silly paper hats and whatnot. Ended up in the Drum as per usual, but I'm pretty sure I was home by about two...ish.

    Great Gigs

Ha! that's nothing. I saw the Pink Fairies at Windsor Free Festival in '73 or '74 and they'd had a load of downers and one by one they collapsed in a heap and had to be carried off after just a few numbers.
  4. I'll get me coat.
  5. I thought that was pretty good Sean, Julie Sawhala's lovely.
  6. A few more for the casting couch. *Bob* - Denis Waterman ("he writes the theme tune, sings the theme tune.") Alan Dale - John Thaw Dulwich Mum - Liz Hurley Sean MacGabhann -Dermot Morgan Asset - Lee Remick Keef - Ozzy Osbourne Mockney Piers - Quintin Tarantino Maurice - Terry Thomas
  7. Frankie Howerd? Oh titter ye not capt-birdseye. So far Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood, Gandolph, Michael Elphick, Frankie Howerd - oh please yerselves.

I don't think I could tower over anyone as I'm only 6ft or do you mean towering presence? And I'll have you know that Liz Smith is a very talented and much loved actress. *Bob* - I'm liking the Michael Elphick but I'd rather be Keith Richards if you don't mind.
  9. So far I've been Keith Richards/Ronnie Wood (that I don't mind, either one suits) but bloody Gandolph!!!! I can assure you I'm not that hideous Lozzyloz and I certaintly don't wear a bloody hoodie like he does. Lozzyloz - Liz Smith
  10. Fear not Tillie, Gillian Anderson was the tottie in the X-Files. Oooh-er Tottie Trotter.
  11. "Fings Ain't Wot They Used To Be" Award to Louisa.
  12. Simply one of the best break-up songs ever. Gets me every time.
  13. Brendan's Sex Pistols review takes some beating and I laughed out very loudly at Allfornun's Jimmy Cagney moment.
  14. Gareth Bale out for three months!!! Bollocks!!! He's been one of our best players this season. It's hard to believe that he's only 18. But, as I keep saying, we need our Ledley back. ???? come on then who do you support. Tillie Trotter and Peckhamgatecrasher are Millwall and no one likes them but they don't care.
  15. I warned you about making a rod for you own back.
  16. This lot are playing the 02 this week so here's a taster for anyone lucky enough to have a ticket. Led Zepplin - Black Dog
  17. The point I'd like to make here is that if a drug like heroin were to be legalised then the only people who will be able to get hold of it free of charge on prescription should be registered heroin addicts with the back up of a full recovery programme available, also free of charge.
  18. Well, I've said it before, the Stones and the Who played there in the early 60s so it has doubled as a cinema/venue before. There would seem to be a market for both now as people on this Forum have expressed in the past for such a place to go to locally.

    Boxing

Had ten people round for the Hatton fight and it was a fun evening despite the result. Mayweather was a different class. Of Amir Khan though, he's not going to learn much by knocking patsies over in the first round. He wants a world title fight but he's a long way off that. The sooner he gets a better class of opposition put in front of him and learns his trade and gains more experience then, and maybe only then, will he be ready for a shot at a world title. He's a class act but still has a lot to learn.
  20. I was just thinking about those two games Keef. Arsenal v Chelsea and Liverpool v Man Utd. The top four going head-to-head. Hmmm...should sort out the men from the boys.
  21. I do love this band, so one more before I have to nip out into the freezing cold and get me some cigarettes. I'll Be Your Mirror
  22. Velvet Underground, lightly chilled for a cold Sunday evening. Nico & Lou Reed - Femme Fatale

    a joke

Two monkeys in a bath. First one goes "ooh, ooh ooh, ahh, ahh ahh." Second one goes: "Well put some f**king cold water in then."
  24. Snigger snigger...wonderful. Spurs won, Arsenal lost. A perfect Sunday.
  25. I couldn't agree more. A very sensible option. Unfortunately I can't see it happening.
