  1. Blimey! Your son's a bit of a geezer isn't he. I'm going up White Hart Lane tonight to see Spurs v Aalborg. Thankfully Younes Kaboul is out injured so we should be able to continue our unbeaten run since Juande Ramos took over.
  2. There are no Gods only religion and religion is bollocks. I think what happened is that she named the Teddy Bear Mohammed after one of the boys in her class. Simple mistake to make.
  3. Allah must be so proud of them. Surely by charging the poor woman to "insulting religion and inciting hatred," they are insulting the very concept of religion and inciting hatred against their fellow Muslims?
  4. A fine exponent of the Ukelele The Barmaid At The Rose & Crown
  5. Good work Mockney.
  6. My mum used to do that Anna. I found that a couple Tuinol or Roche 10 Valium slipped into her drink were far more efficient.
  7. I think I'm gonna steer well clear of the 176 from now on. It would appear to be full of serial pukers from East Dulwich who can't hold their drink. Pathetic.(6)
  8. Should be a cracking game with a super-charged atmosphere tonight considering what is going on at Anfield. I might join you if you're watching it down the pub. Could do with a drink and shouting at the telly after the day I'm having.
  9. Agreed Life On Mars was very good. Saxondale and Gavin And Stacey were also highlights for me too.
  10. F**k 'em. Serves 'em right. They can stick their petition where the sun don't shine. Hopefully Foxtons will be next on Southwark's agenda.
  11. Officially it's Birmingham but quite frankly I don't give f**k.
  12. Aargh! Sean, what have you done....Subliminal brain washing messages aside My Name Is Earl is still a very funny show and one of the few American TV programmes I watch although I haven't seen it in a while as I'm usually out when it's on.
  13. Errr...oh dear. You can't say you weren't warned. You might be needing a good PR. I've got Max Clifford's number if you need it. Good luck.
  14. England's greatest Guitar God is doing a five day stint at Ronnie Scott's this week. Jeff Beck - A Day In The Life
  15. Not a place I've ever actually ventured into but I'm told that the Margaritas are worth the visit alone.
  16. Yup Paul, a good musician, he's moved back to Ireland now. But Mary's been there for donkeys years, chains smokes fags and well... she must be 80 now if she's a day.
  17. Don't be silly, do you really expect a Mrs Mop to be on every single bus just in case someone throws up. And if you're moved onto another bus you shouldn't have to touch in you Oyster card again.
  18. Oh! come on Atila, Wenger is well known for the odd spat. Face it he's just as bad a loser as Fergie, which is probably what makes them so successful. Anyway - here's the next England manager, can't be any worse than the last one. Football Is A Cruel Mistress
  19. EDOldie Wrote: In the Castle on Christmas morning, Olive, she's still > alive God bless her, used to buy everyone one > drink. Surely you mean Mary?

  21. Having just slathered over that menu it reminds me that I need to book a table in there as I haven't been for a while. Would pop in to join you this Thursday but I'll be up in north London watching Spurs in the UEFA Cup
  22. I'm usually one of the first punters in the Dog on a Xmas Day. Got to get there early to get a decent seat near the bar and a good spot for taking the piss out of the Xmas jumper brigade.
  23. Here's a proper drinking song by the much missed and much loved Ronnie Lane. (Gawd bless 'im). One For The Road
  24. mlteenie Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > A good walk spoiled. Thank you Oscar Wilde. I prefer this quote though. "Golf is a game played by men with small balls." Peter Cook. Anyway, best of luck Paul. My dad was a member at Dulwich & Sydenham Golf Club for over 50 years. I had lessons there when I was a boy but never took to the game.
  25. There you go. Dulwich & Sydenham Golf Club
