You didn't miss much Keef. I had a flat around the corner from The Heber at one time and they had some right ropey stripers in there some lunchtimes. To be honest it was a bit of a dump.

It's quite probable I'll be taking in several venues tonight. I love a bit of a pub crawl me. Good job we have plenty of decent bars to go to in East Dulwich if one feels the urge to go out on the lash.

God! I hate that sort of behaviour. I have to get a P4 (which is OK) or a 185 (which is not) to Lewisham most days to get to the DLR for work and quite often you'll get those sort of stroppy teenagers trying that one on in Catford or Lewisham on the way back home to Dulwich. I'm not a violent man but I once came quite close to biffing one of 'em on the nose for holding up the bus like that. The little buggers wouldn't get off, fortunately a couple of other people had the same idea and once they realised they were outnumbered by furious passengers they finally got off. Scumbags!(6)

Top choice Catgirl. I read William Boyd's Any Human Heart a few years back and it is one of those unputdownable books that you don't want to end. Also if you want something that's fun and you can quickly wizz through a good one is William Sutcliffe's Are You Experienced.

I was called a "silly man" by Louisa in her thread about "mad Lizzy" which I thought was rather uncalled for but then I suppose she's not far wrong as I do have a penchant for silliness. Sometimes I just can't help myself.

I suppose you could have The End by The Doors, it would seem somewhat appropriate.
