I agree Nigello. The sooner those places on FHR are done up and reopened the better. I reckon a butcher's would work well there.

I really liked the old Wishing Well much much more than the New Victoria Inn... not my cup of tea at all, so I never go there now.

It's also nice that you can sit outside HB&B and enjoy an ale or two now that the sun's out.

I think sub-editors are a rare and dying breed these days. In fact, I'm not even sure if they even exist anymore. They just shove it through a spell check these days, make sure it fits the page and Bob's yer uncle. Have you read the thread AQM? Louisa complains about one cinema being more pricy than another cinema, argues for and against them, drawing ridiculous comparisons and spouting the usual relentless drivel that she is want to do like an old scratched record and then it turns out she hasn't even bothered to go to either of the venues that we've been discussing on two threads! That's no experience of either venue to draw proper comparisons with. It deserves ridicule and our withering scorn and I'm sure she's having just as much fun winding us all up as "Bob* is taking the piss out of her tired old shtick.

And on and on it goes.
