  6. There are many to choose from Ye Old Cherry Tree, The Hamlet, Cheers and The Cherry Tree again. I may have missed one out but I'm sure someone may be able to tell us what it was.
  7. I bumped into the son of the now previous owner in The Plough last week who told me it will be having a 500 grand refit so I imagine it will be quite some time before it reopens.
  8. East Grinstead - your window to the world.
  9. I think its about ?32 for a check-up and then it depends on what sort of treatment you need. They sorted out my ingrowing toenails a few months back. Two appointments cost me about ?120. Worth every penny as I was in quite a bit of pain and they are fine now.

I believe that's been taken out of his hands now because of the shite he bought with the Saurez money. Whereas at Spurs where the directors wasted the Bale money, Pochettino along with his assistant Paul Thingamejig (forgotten his surname, his colleague that he worked with at Southampton) are now being trusted with the transfer money and quietly getting a few deals done. So far a centre back and a right back have arrived plus Delli Ali who we bought from Milton Keynes Dons last season will be joining us and I think he could turn out to be really good. I'd like to see a top class defensive midfielder and creative one too with a bit of flair plus another top quality forward with a bit of experience that Harry Kane can learn from and take a bit of pressure of him too. Players who can go - Kaboul, Chiriches, Adebayor, Capoue, Lennon, Townsend, Stambouli, Holtby and Soldado.
  11. About 1986/87 I reckon.
  12. Mandies were Mandrax and they were rather lovely but were banned in this country in 1974. The American equivalent is called Quaalude (Methaqualone) a very popular drug back in the 70s. Nothing to do with fizzy drinks. They're mentioned in Ian Dury's song Billericay Dickie. I bought a lot of brandy when I was courting Sandy took eight to make her randy and all I had was shandy another thing with Sandy what often came in handy was passing her a 'Mandy' she didn't half go bandy so you ask Joyce and Vicki if I ever took the mickey I'm not a flipping thicky I'm Billericay Dickie and I'm doing very well. Oooh.. good excuse to play it.
  13. Class traitor.
  14. Indeed. Your opinion Louisa. Here's what to do with it. http://i1369.photobucket.com/albums/ag237/jahlushhead/Opinion_zpsba7fa8fe.jpg
  15. Hop Burns & Black in the Evening Standard. http://www.standard.co.uk/lifestyle/london-life/londons-great-shopkeepers-hop-burns--black-in-east-dulwich-10310788.html I think they're a very welcome addition to our community and I love what they sell. Good luck to 'em.
  16. Why? Because she sounded a bit posh?

  18. The only thing that could ever put me off Charlotte Church now, is if she got pissed and shagged Russell Brand.

  21. 0/10 It is not ?35 a ticket and Peckhamplex isn't miles out of anyone's way if they live in ED.

Definitely not the 70s. They had the Mag before they got their hands on the Cherry Tree, so early to mid 90s I should think.
  23. Looking forward to the England Under-21 game tonight. Shame Berahino has had to pull out through injury as he's been our top scorer in getting us into the finals of the competition.
  24. Have PM'd you, CraigJam.
