  1. I went to a blues dance at Brixton Town Hall where Jah Shaka's sound system shook the walls of the building back in '73 or '74. One of my earliest experiences of the 'erb too. Total mindblast.
  2. It's because they're the only club in town. London has at least a dozen.
  3. Spurs fans are also terrible moaners. I should know because I am one.
  4. I understand that gate wise but it seems to me they only turn up to have a moan at whoever's in charge.
  5. Alan Medic Wrote: I was speaking with a geordie yesterday and he was not pleased. *** That's part of the problem. They never are. They think they're a big club but they've won nothing since 1969 and before that you'd have to go back to the early 50s for a couple of FA Cup wins and that's about it.
  6. Ha! Typical rent-a-gob Harry, we've gone sideways perhaps. Last line keeps it real - Redknapp resigned as QPR manager in February before Rangers finished bottom and were relegated to the Championship. Who's to blame, Harry? Nothing to do with you I suppose.
  7. Re: The White Horse. Hogie has decided to leave and sell up after 33 years. He ran a fine old school boozer. His son is going to run another pub in the area and he'll be part of that. I like the pub, especially for Hank Dog's Easycome music nights on Wednesday. It's that club that I'm more concerned about as it will possibly have to move. Recently, I've enjoyed sets in there from people like Dave Mankind, The Petrels, Misty Miller and her brother Rufus, a couple of members of Fat White Family (Saul and Lias) and another local legend Flameproof Moth. So it's not all old farts in there. I'm hoping that the new owners can create a decent mix of old and new and keep everyone happy.

  9. I'm a BT Broadband/Sport customer but are you saying I'm gonna have to fork out another fiver to watch it?
  10. Thought you preferred the crossbow BBW.

Come and have a swinging good time. http://i1369.photobucket.com/albums/ag237/jahlushhead/11357178_1604588259789116_827869671667373071_o_zpssxeqz1c2.jpg
  12. That is all I have to say. http://i1369.photobucket.com/albums/ag237/jahlushhead/10171292_818829754804704_2706684750159589596_n_zpsbboxmdmy.jpg
  13. I think Milner is really under-rated. He should do well at Liverpool.
  14. Ings made it plain that his heart was set on joining Liverpool right from the off. I agree a partnership with Kane would have been good as it has worked well at England Under-21 level. I'm hoping Lloris stays at Spurs. He'd be very hard to replace.
  15. Ings signs for Liverpool. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33046003
  16. As Otta said. Cracking game. Best team won.
  17. Do Not Adjust Your Set
  18. Can't help thinking it's about the agent trying to get the best deal for himself. He's obviously turned the boy's head.
  19. Jeez! Surely you can watch all this old crap endlessly on repeat on certain channels or You Tube?
  20. Jim'll Fix It.
  21. True but he won't get many games at Real Madrid.
  22. James Barber Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- Dulwich councillors were very clear that this risked social picnic etc style drinking could be interpreted to fall fowl of it. *** Chicken sandwiches in the picnic hamper?
  23. Lidl would have been an ideal replacement.
