  1. Actually, that's a good idea. I'd prefer that and The O's could do with the income.
  2. I think Wembley would be a goer but I hate that place and I wouldn't want to be going to the Effeminates and I'm certain Gooner fans wouldn't want us there either so I'd settle for Milton Keynes even though its capacity is only 22,000. There is of course the Olympic Stadium...

How is it a rip off? I've enjoyed it every time I've been and they are now doing an early bird deal - five tapas for ?20 or five tapas plus a bottle of wine for ?35 between 6pm and 7.30pm. All delicious and good value I'd say.
  4. All the old guard have gone and it was good to see young players getting their chance. Of those making their debut, Coleman impressed me most.
  5. I'd file that alongside people who say 'awesome' to describe everything. "How was your journey into work today?" "Awesome, just awesome." "Wow! Just wow!" Cnuts!
  6. Wow wow wow wow!. Unbelievable. I blame Kate Bush.
  7. Audacious bid for Ronaldinho. Yeah, good luck with that. http://www.basingstokegazette.co.uk/sport/football/11450293.Basingstoke_Town_launch_bid_to_sign_Ronaldinho/?ref=fbsend
  8. BT Sport.
  9. Here we go again.
  10. Well, that was far more interesting. Lamela scored a cracker and Di Maria played a blinder. I'm having a fiver on Lamela and Di Maria both scoring in their next games for their clubs.
  11. Glad I recorded the Germany v Argentina game. Gonna watch that now.
  12. Otta Wrote: > > Not so excited as an England fan because I don't > think he'll be used to his full potential. There's a very long list of players who you could you say come under that description.
  13. I'm watching...
  14. Ha! Sanchez and Ozil a combined purchase of ?90 million. You're having a laugh PD.
  15. Permit me for saying so but I think SJ has made some very fair points. I'm not a fan of Welbeck but I think he'll do a good job at Le Arse. The Professor will turn him into a much better player. The comparison if you want it PD is at Man Utd. They have spent an absolute fortune in this window. The risk is immense. Falcao is a really huge expensive gamble. Rumoured to have a dodgy knee, on astronomical wages and no real creative quality in midfield to supply him. I'm fairly happy with our buys at Spurs. I loved Sandro and am a little sad to see him go but since his injuries he has lost a lot of his mobility. The fact only QPR were in for him says a lot. Stambouli looks like an excellent purchase as a replacement and a lot cheaper than Schiederlin would have cost.
  16. Those were the days.
  17. Hmmm... you haven't even watched it yet. Tccch! I thought Spurs played fairly well. Qk. we weren't that bad but the stats will tell you we only had one shot on target in the whole 90 minutes. Says everything for me. Definitely the area we need working on.
  18. Indeed ratty, indeed. Lovely lovely people. Will miss them.
  19. Remember it well. It would be marvellous to have it back in that spot again.
  20. Thought as much.
  21. I meet new people all the time.
  22. I'm happy being single, thank you.
  23. OK. Fair dos. I do however, stand by my "attention seeking fucknuts" post though.
  24. I'm glad I don't either. Can you be sure of where that $100 goes though? Really certain? I do give to charity frequently and who I give to is my business. Just don't need to stick a bucket of ice water over my head beforehand and broadcast it to everyone over the internet.
  25. I'm not going to guess what those "other program activities" are. Ok, administrative cost? 10.54% and 18.11% for fundraising. What does this mean? That our of the $100 I would give to this organization $7.71 of it would go to research, that's about as much as a test tube costs.
