  1. Me too! It's all about the specials at Lidl. I love checking out the poster before I go in to see what the next week's theme's going to be.
  2. Calling men and teenage boys: in this hot weather, why not shower daily and wear deodorant?

Waitrose doesn't seem to sell them: how middle class is that? PS - now having late lunch of Jamie Oliver Morroccan grains (Sainsbury's special offer) with baby leaf salad (Morrisons), avocado and soy sauce ( both Lidl). What class am I now?

  5. No! How did I miss that? Will pop in and see if there's any left.
  6. Your poor neighbour. She must have been terrified. Hope the police catch them.
  7. *chokes on organic artichoke heart*
  8. Thanks, RH. Found some just now in Oddbins (?15.79) and Cave de Bruno (?19.99) but as I'm clearly a cheapskate I'll have to wait till I'm passing a Waitrose or big Tesco.
  9. Thanks. Definitely not in Sainsbury's at the moment as I tried again today but will give M&S a go. Aldi"s a bit far for me.
  10. Has anyone by any chance seen this on sale locally at a sensible price? Sainsbury's has it online but not in the shop and the posh wine shop in DV has it but for an eye-watering ?18.99. Grateful for any local sightings.
  11. Was there more than one party going on?
  12. Reviving this game because Mott the Hoople came on the radio earlier and reminded me. What do you do for money honey - ACDC
  13. Maybe that in itself is the result of having a bad night. When I've had no sleep I'm afraid I have no patience at all and I'm quicker to take things to heart.
  14. Good idea to start by trying to have a reasonable conversation with the parents as they're the householders and will be the ones who cop it if things escalate. It may be that they already realise his behaviour is antisocial. The fact that they'ved moved him down the garden suggests they might prefer not having him in the house. Plus as it's going on in their garden they'll know that you're telling the truth. Having ammunition from you may help them deal with the situation.
