I see that the Trust can benefit from Gift Aid from both membership fees and plain donations from taxpayers.

I expect the 'good company' waiting to be duly found by this unbelievable spammer will be the one already spammed and deleted twice recently under two user names. [2/2/21 ETA] But no, it turned out to be for an Irish window company [https://www.skwindows.ie/], in line with GibsonB's preparatory post of 30 Dec which I reported (first attachment). The report wasn't acted on, and he added the payload link on 4 Jan.

Details of local Covid vaccination plans?

If it tells you, "The search engine encountered the following error: invalid or no response from Elasticsearch" that's just because the search term already entered is missing the closing bracket. There seems to be some odd quirk of Phorum that's causing it. Some of my own colons disappeared from online text as well, but this seems to have managed to get the URL ok, using %29. https://archive.org/search.php?query=creator%3A(Southwark%20Archives)%20AND%20subject%3A(Neighbourhood%20Histories%29

London & SE England into Tier 4 for Christmas
ianr replied to IlonaM's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
The new regulations SI 2020/1611 are now available at https://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2020/1611/contents/made. They're written as an amendment to the original All Tiers regulations SI 2020/1374 of 2 December, https://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2020/1374/contents. The meat of the amendments is a new freestanding Schedule 3A which specifies all the Tier 4 restrictions. An updated version of SI 2020/1374 could conceivably appear later. ETA: The All Tiers regulations SI 2020/1374 at https://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2020/1374/contents did indeed become a fully consolidated version a day or two later. -

There is a page of guidance at https://www.gov.uk/guidance/tier-4-stay-at-home. The statutory instrument containing the actual regulations will of course be the authoritative source for the law. It's yet to appear. -
That looks right to me, BB. Mount Pleasant is the mail centre for EC, N, W1 and WC according to Wikipedia, and Croydon is by far the nearest of the other mail centres covering the South East of the UK. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Mail#Mail_centres

Details of local Covid vaccination plans?

> Two informed sources indicate that the > vaccination centres are unable to achieve > their quota and doses are going to waste. Known personally to you? What do you mean by indicate? How long after after dilution and storage have doses been discarded, and how many? When and where has this happened? To whom has any interdiction been communicated, in what terms and context, and by whom? -

It was a slightly disinfectant smell as I remember it, rather than fragrance. Did some rolls come with Government Property or similar on all sheets? Yes, a quick webcheck confirms; plus some more interesting stuff on the history of loo paper, such as https://wellcomecollection.org/articles/XOsAeBEAAEMRUqpd.

According to https://www.royalmail.com/d8/parcel-post-boxes "The maximum Parcel size allowed into our new Postboxes is 44cm x 35cm x 16cm", and the nearest one I can see listed there is probably Milkwood Road, SE24. Or are there different types of them? PS After struggling with the RM website I see that there's a priority post box (as designated for collection of completed virus test kits) at the location you mention. Which doesn't help you, I know.

If you want to find the registered keeper you can get their details from DVLA: https://www.gov.uk/request-information-from-dvla. Make sure you retain the moped rider witness's contact details too. It might be a good idea to ask them to make a preliminary note now of when and what exactly they saw, while it's fresh in their memory.
