So I take it there's no danger, through mutatation or crossbreeding, of their becoming some subspecies of survivalist and acquiring heavy firepower?

*Be vigilant* Possible imposters in the area

What do people want to achieve? We have been told what's happened, but we don't know the identity of the person(s) concerned. We also know that at least one of them has been addressed and so presumably knows that they were under suspicion and have been photographed. Will it greatly help us to see the photograph, given that no offence has been perpetrated? What might be gained by it? What would be the potential costs of doing so? Would there be any gain in any potential perps knowing only that they might have been photographed? I think btw that there's an argument in such cases for keeping observation and/or phoning 999, stating the facts, and letting the police do their own prioritising. -
Aargh, my mistake. Thanks Penguin68, and apologies to Southwark. I'd been looking at the "clear bag collections" list which heads the revised schedule.
-
The published revised dates aren't reliable. A collection due to have been made tomorrow was actually made today. At that rate they might even be back to the standard schedule by next week, a week earlier than published.

I've just bought a luminous watch, if that will help. -

I have noticed them interfering with freeview reception recently. I suppose that'll be the special ops ECM jamming signals. Or are they using them to beam thoughts to us? -
> PS how do I insert websites as hyperlinks please? Standard HTML a tags will do, and you can check via Preview.

> If the police tell you they have searched an area, take it with a pinch of salt and get friends and family to search too. If Nana80 simply wants everyone to be keeping an eye open everywhere, that's fine. After the last sad instance here of a missing person report, the conclusion I reached was that if that any more serious help is needed, it should really be done in a well-organised way, intelligently and systematically. I don't know how we, forum-members or community at large, would coordinate such a thing if needed. But if Nana80 wants to pursue that line, let her say and we can see what emerges. PS What area is he missing from? PPS I've PM'd Nana80 to check that she's reading this thread.

I've just eaten my first physalis or three or four. And it's not even something I've seen in a list of 100 Xs I have or want to Y before I Z. And does anyone know where the UFOs will be landing to resue the select? Does Southwark have anything organised?

According to the http://www.oyster-rail.org.uk/mixing-travelcard-and-payg/ site mentioned by BB, afaics the ?2 extra (for Zones 3-4) would be normal for a single peak journey, as it was overall a "mixed NR/TfL journey" (see Mike's "Things to watch out for" section). Is it possible that you are charged just ?1.50 only when you break your journey long enough for it to be counted as two separate journeys (ie overall taking more than 110 minutes (see Mike's Maximum Journey Times page))? In that case ?1.50 would be the peak charge for TfL zones 3-4.

Is there trains to LB from ED today ?

> I believe that a single train journey payg should be charged based on the zones of travel. The ?3.70 for Shoreditch High Street to ED is the Zone 1-2 fare in the "Adult National Rail through fares" table ("for journeys including Tube, DLR or London Overground") at http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tickets/fares-2012/26099.aspx.

> if I ever have to travel to north or SW London, it could be useful. If you're going via Wimbledon, the new timetable gives a quicker, 23 minute journey either way via Tulse Hill, thanks to less waiting time there, if you get the 23/53 trains. Quicker than going via CLJ.

A million minutes comes round every 1.9 years, if that helps. Or a million heartbeats about every ten days.

Neither will 12.12.12.12.26, at least not in east Dulwich.

> I have looked at this Website but the sites mentioned are not precise, the sites that I saw then were blocks away from those marked I've seen enough people saying this to have me wondering whether there is a systematic error in their geomapping software. In fact, if you look at this page, http://bombsight.org/data/sources/, they are fairly upfront about some possible sources of error that may exist in their different data sources. But I do trust that they've checked that the process transforming the original data records to the maps we've been given hasn't introduced any further error. There is presumably scope for checking the original data records against clear recollections of folk like computedshorty. Perhaps such work has already been done. Anyone who comes across any academic papers relevant to this project, please do mention them here.
