no, no HB, don't worry, Sean PMed me and said "how cool" to be mistaken for you! Oh lord (to keep up with the current themes), hope I haven't broken some unspoken forum rule of confidence on PM's:-$ ps Brendan said he's Denis the Menace... so I guess that means you are either the little chap on the left or the goofy one... but I'm sure you aren't a bit like either of them though... thanks for the above... xxcc

oh yes Quids... thank you so much for your patience on Friday... us girls got into a deep political discussion in the loo (well not actually in it as such, that would have been rather messy) and time just flew by... hhhmmm... not sure it was very deep, really... think we were all a bit p*ssed>:D< and I think you look quite strong enough to pick me up like that.... are you saying I look heavy Quids... how very rude, I might just take offence and tell you off for being so cliquey and talking to me in a perfectly friendly and normal way even though you don't really know me from Adam (who is Adam anyway? is that his forum name or real name?)

DD, Please do not read any malice into this because absolutely none is intended, but having read your posts I am wonder if you realise that they come across as a bit needy and attention seeking. I am sure you do not intend them to come across like that, but maybe you could try another tack and see if things improve. Then, if it does not work out for you, you could always consider not using the forum, maybe it just doesn't suit you. I was a bit cautious when I joined and got a few slightly funny comments at first, was called naive, and stuff like that... but I did not take it too seriously, have to say I did not always get the humor in some of the posts to start with (thought Dulwichmum was for real... how daft was I), but soon got into the swing of it... Don't be put off by the negative comments about the monthly drinks thing, I went on Friday (my second one as I have not been on the that forum long) and had a brilliant time... My approach is 'treat others as you would like to be treated yourself'... seems to work pretty well... have had no problems and met some great people - clever, funny, inclusive, sociable... what more could you ask? -
it's all suddenly become clear... We are the Beano... http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/615wzazgGkL._SL500_AA240_.jpg pick your character and get ready to play... Minnie the minx (absolutely not open to discussion... that's ME) who else... who's who???? http://www.paulmorris.co.uk/beano/strips/minnie2001.jpg and last but not least... admin looking on and spoiling the fun (well... only sometimes xxcc) http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcfour/comicsbritannia/images/bash_st_teacher_spls.jpg
