not sure about the 'humility' thing... has a sort of Christian air to it, isn't there something about Mary Magdalene's humility when she washes Christ's feet. No... maybe I have got that totally wrong and it was Christ that did the foot washing thing... http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_5hQPq_8nBw4/SINvfTbgqBI/AAAAAAAAAHs/lrWJwt1dVhg/s400/Mary+foot+washing.bmp Mind you, I am a big fan of tenderness... there's not enough of it about these day! So maybe we should add 'Ability to express tenderness' to the list and what about 'Mystery'? people talk about women and mystery a lot

Depends on what your definition of bright is, Keef. That's exactly why a did not use the word intelligent, because I meant someone with a 'brightness' of personality, with a bit of sparkle (ie not dull, stodgy, pessimistic, plodding, etc.). Anyway, I believe that there are many forms or types of intelligence, and the traditional academic model does not reflect that. I see a huge variety of types intelligence in my students, I see it in other people. IMO, conventional forms of learning do not harness or encourage expression of this variety. I have often come across children (and adults) who have been labelled a 'not bright' at school, who are the most dynamic and intelligent people... http://evilspeculator.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/dunce.gif

ref the regeneration of bellenden road.... it was the council who actively 'encouraged' dreadful planning... ie provided funding/links to hideous signage design/designers/recommending of dire plastic 'Dickensian' style facades etc... so Allfornun, beware the idea of Southwark "finding some balls", stepping in to prevent disasters or having any understanding what looks right and what doesn't! http://img1.photographersdirect.com/img/38/wm/pd2186948.jpg and LOOK at the lights!!!! think 'cross park fence aesthetic' - Goose Green remember stainless steel colour coded "welcome to..." posts which were neither use nor ornamaent (as my Yorkshire friend says i could go on but.... leave it you to think of all the other ones.... -

I read in the papers that the word Pandemic is used when a disease is speading in more than one country... pretty common really, and not something that normally sends us all into a spin.... Flu spreads all over the world every winter, and thousands die in the UK alone every year because of contracting the flu, so nothing new (except the press don't always hype it up like this to take our minds off other things.. economy, world recession etc.) I suggest you ignore the press for a while and wash you hands a bit more!!! http://paulvieira.files.wordpress.com/2007/03/4c225ec4fbab7f4cbb8409616565dc3b-orig.jpg edited cos 'excep't came out as 'expect' the first time!!!

I went to pick up friend at her dentist's surgery after having a root canal and both John Cleese and Ian Dury were in the waiting room... Cleese was very twitchy and kept crossing and un-crossing his legs whilst flapping the pages of a newspaper very loudly... Dury, as you would expect, was his charming, funny, excentric self...

There must be some confusion, I think you'll find I have the winning ticket...

[quote name=Ricky Gervais is also doing warm-ups at the moment - he's using the Bloomsbury Theatre' date=' the Shaw (I think) and also some gaff in Finchley. I've been to a couple but I've never found Ricky's work in progress that funny to be honest. ] so right, giggirl, Izzard is in totally a different league, Gervais... to much work makes a dull boy, still very Office-y, bit of a one trick pony IMO how to you get to find out about the warm up shows, are you in the business? any tips and or PM's welcome xxcc
