  1. I?d just like a Greggs
  2. They are looking for volunteers to run it - it doesn't have to be the end - just someone who has the time and commitment
  3. I?m not looking for the usual varieties or I?d go to the Co op. Any recommendations for a good nursery?
  4. I would hope they have had a decent surveyor to assess the causes of the cracks. Bellenden Road is Peckham is it not?
  5. Have you tried Borrow My Doggy site?
  6. It all depends on the owner and how well the dogs are trained. I would also exercise caution as I don't see that many well trained dogs when I'm out with mine.
  7. do you really think another council (non Labour) will drop this source of funding and make it easier to drive around?
  8. Seriously? ?Meat? grown from cells? Why bother. Just stop eating meat. Or dramatically cut down.
  9. There are many perils, so it?s best to do what you can when you can. Keep your dog on a lead around the pond or don?t go there with your dog. It?s not hard.
  10. People who own dogs and cannot control them should not have them off the lead. Control means your dog obeys your when you say things like Stop, Heel. There are so many people I see when out with my own who are not able to do that.
  11. It?s disgusting that they didn?t stay to see if they could help. That?s outrageous.
  12. your wife doesn't get to "decide" - you are always a father and you can reach out to your son. Do you need help navigating this?
  13. create an account (ours is with Ask My GP but you need to ask your GP receptionist and they can send you a link) - you can book appointments as well as get advice. you email your issue/ question and they respond, usually same day. Fatigue can also come from lack of Vit D. It's also important to have magnesium and Vit B12 - depends on your diet really but you can try an improve your diet and see if that makes a difference (usually does). Go for a blood test and then you'll know for sure. sometimes the supplements OTC are not a strong enough dosage.
  14. I don't understand the blanket attack on XR members. There are some people who are extremists (there always are) but that does not diminish the message. It certainly doesn't warrant the distain shown.

Didn?t Australia put something like this in place, which dramatically reduced the number of immigrants attempting to enter Australia?
  16. I hope that are alright. They won?t be insured. What do you want to happen?
  17. Completely agree Sue. The news has cast them as trouble makers, but really the fight for Climate Change and awareness is essential now more than ever and its a movement to support. People are content to ignore it as they don't see their worn small world impacted.
  18. Champagne has relatively low calories compared to wine. I think calories consumed is the wrong measure as it's not the right focus. You can count your calories as much as you want but you also need to think about what you are actually eating and the impact on your body. Sugar is a real problem. It has some many serious health risks (diabetes, weight, teeth etc), but is quite normalised. Look at the sugar content in the breakfast cereals you give your kids. And as Spartacus says carbs, fat and salt are also things you should watch.
  19. Most people just like to moan but you are correct - the only way to address issues is to be actively involved in local groups, local councils and so on.
  20. seems all organised. I'd rather a peaceful camp than a hoard of drunk festivals goers.
  21. I think it would be great with a market and some new bars - the more people are enticed to an area, the better it is for local businesses. We have to keep the chicken shops though.
  22. It?s ok to cut brambles right down and also at the start of Spring, although it doesn?t appear this has been done with any understanding. Do we know who did it?
