  1. Post hijacked by usual driveling. pity.
  2. Just means we have loads of choice.... We also like Pizza GoGo as they are awesome - I mean, a whole super large pizza for less than ?8!
  3. Voodoo Rays being by far the superior
  4. my kids went in for pick and mix and said it was too expensive - around ?1.50/100g they were quite disappointed as 100g is not actually very many
  5. I don't think the supermarkets value shopper experience. I think they forget they wouldn't exist without us. We have more power than we know - and don't put it to good use
  6. Lidl in Balham have a sexy male voice on their scanner
  7. I think that's very important. Some of the guys in my office are particularly tamed - not allowed to choose their own take away, get in trouble if they are home past 9pm (on their one allowed outing), one guy is spending his birthday watching the Tine Turner show (because his wife wanted to see it on her birthday but didn't, because they went out for dinner).... As a mum, I don't meet as many people as I used to as my social time is spent doing different things and I'm going to bed at the time of day when I used to be getting ready to go out....and getting up when I used to get home.....
  8. can we please have them all accountable for everything they do - rather than telling lies on a specific occasion
  9. I just don't go there anymore It's too stressful. I like Lidl and Waitrose - and save lots of money compared to Sainsubury
  10. why go to the effort? there are better things to put your energy into
  11. I think the Tories will need more than that.
  12. You would either have a word and ask them to stop - or remind them it's illegal.
  13. Thank you It turns out his lease doesn't show my right of way, so I've had to order the copies from Land Registry and it will all be sorted out then. Thanks for your support, Ang
  14. "A truly self serving snake oil salesman of the worst kind". So, akin to Tony Blair?
  15. I spoke to Land Registry and I do have access confirmed in the lease so just written to their landlord. They really can't argue so I'll give it a day or two....
  16. It's becoming an issue so I need to know where I stand. I have a private front entrance to the flat (at the back of the property) and the back garden is only accessible via the side of the property. There is a separate path down the side of the property, which belongs to the front flat. the tenant in that property uses the side path to store things and I have to keep asking them to clear it so it's safe access. It's filled up with pallets, hosepipes, rubbish etc. I've just asked their LL to get it cleared as I'm getting a kitchen delivered and was basically told to lift my stuff over it - and that they would want to attend when the delivery arrives as they do not believe it to be an issue and will move it temporarily if it is. I expect to be able to get in and out of my garden without having to clamber over stuff or trip up. Am I being unreasonable in requesting it is kept clear? Access is written in the lease with the Registrar. Thanks Angelina
  17. If it gets people out and about and active, brilliant Far too expensive though - there's a difference between raising funds and making money It should be community driven, not profit driven (ie priority being a resource the community can afford to use and not designed to be expensive to increase profit of the organisers) I would want to know how much the organisers make and how much goes to Southwark....and of the money that goes to Southwark, how much gets re-invested in the parks?
  18. if you sign up for a nursery place and there is a waiting it, it would suggest you need to make alternative arrangements until a place becomes available - or that you need to look after the children yourself until then
  19. "understaffed" - whatever they spend most of their time doing, there isn't enough resource to follow up calls like this. Shocking it's happening so frequently to our kids
  20. He should have known better.
  21. business? yes I'm not sure that would comfort a young person who has been scared - especially with the prevalence of knife crime etc.....
