    Brilliant.
  2. Yes, it would be interesting if there were three petitions....Remain, Leave and May's Deal. There are currently no comparisons
  3. If you have a photo, make a police report
  4. are we clear on what the options are for a second ref? it needs to be binary and can't be vague (leave/ don't leave) A list of things the gov would change in order for the WA to be passed would be helpful (in fact, why is this not known)

How many days left for TM? and who will replace her?

Don't make it sound as if EU are saintly and beyond reproach. Far from it. They have been exceptionally difficult and obstinate. I would challenge any of our politicians to have actually managed to get a decent deal approved by them. It's hardly in their best interests to have Britain go out with an easy exit....

It wasn't long ago that May promised that there would be no extension. She's a bit 'not very honest'.

Does this mean that TM cannot ask for a delay unless the specs of what she's asking has been agreed by all parties?

Do you really think that May's Agreement is aligned to the will of the 17m who voted leave? I don't think Bercow's trying to prevent Leave, just not on the absurd terms May has come up with.

so you think this is personal? I think it makes good sense. Otherwise TM would present the same over and over again. It's a bit like being asked every year if I like Brussel Sprouts. The answer is still no.
  11. depends what mood you're in. it's a bit like having tea or coffee. both are good.

So, if Bercow is an EU puppet, as suggested above - what does the recent news mean in terms of underhand strategy?
  13. perhaps he can take the rest of them with him
  14. What do you want him to do? I get the feeling anything would be open to your criticism.

she's relying on that. pity - should be relying on robust content not to worry - it's only everything at stake.
  16. I think the shambles that is happening is enough to make anyone crazy. Apparently TM didn't even vote for her own Agreement. Ludicrous.

Farage will not be walking the full 270 miles, no. He did say he'd walk 100 of them, which is commendable. It would take around 10 full days non stop to walk the full distance. Eddie Izzard is our famous long distance person of note :-)
  18. Brilliant. They all marched past my office today. Awesome.
  19. I completely agree. What people determine to be essential and what is really essential are very different. There are hoards of children outside Parliament begging for climate change - and here we are complaining about how inconvenient it is that we have to take longer in the car to get to where we want to go. This is a clear demonstration of why we are where we are - we EXPECT to be able to drive everywhere - at our convenience. We should be looking at only making ESSENTIAL journeys - and not what is convenient (although we do like to say it's essential). When there are no trains, no buses as we have seen - London still moves.
  20. good choice of words! one of mine is there... good for them. I completely and totally disagree with the comment above that it's too little too late for people to make any dent in the issue themselves. Change your behaviour and you can - literally - change the world. Don't leave it to our children to do. sort yourselves out - cut out plastic bottles, baby wipes, recycle - or re-use......

You have to ask why they would not be picking up on that. It's hidden in the legalities and should be made absolutely clear that the implications are restrictive. It may be that the public are not expected to understand that (or if you are capable, you will do your own research). The TM agreement is dangerous for the UK and would leave us far worse off than we are now. I don't see how anyone would endorse it (unless you're in the EU.....) And if it's a choice between no deal and TM deal then the risks need to be very very clear. Something which is lacking in the mainstream media.

ok, so a 2nd Referendum would not include options for No Deal and would not include options for TM Deal.. So - only would be vote to stay in EU. A one-box vote? That would mean it's based purely on HOW MANY PEOPLE turn out to vote - if it's more than do not. That is absurd.

So if we're allowed a second referendum, but TM's deal is off the table, what will the votes be for? Leave the EU without a Deal Stay in the EU How can it be for anything else? they can't have an option for a new WA, as how would that be achieved? They may as well not bother and just say we're staying, but of course - they can't as it was a democratic vote to Leave...

Even IF TM had collaborated at the onset, there is a chance but no promise that this would have progressed more smoothly - and agreement in our own Parliament achieved. It's debatable. The second challenge would be to get this agreement signed off with the EU - and the scale of our shoddiness in terms of negotiation skills would not have met this challenge (unless it was on the EU terms, whcih is where we are now). There is no point is looking at who is to blame and what could have been done. TM will leave the stage once this is finished - she will wash her hands of it - there will be continuity and no responsibility for it (whatever it is) going forward.

TM has taken it down to the wire and left the ultimate choice to be her deal as it stands (with the legal risks of tying UK into subservience to the will of the EU) or No Deal. An extension does not offer any further choices. So - as it is when we vote - the choice will be Which Do You Want Least? rather than which do you actually WANT
