    I've thought about it again.... Yes - buy it - if it cheers you up and makes you happy, then that's a good thing. Tie it onto your door with lots of wire and a padlock. Maybe the owner of the shop has some tips on securing it so it doesn't get stolen.

    no, I wouldn't at all - and if I had the sort of money that meant it wouldn't notice - I would still feel ashamed as it's a complete waste of money and I would rather give it to someone more needy. We have a toy snowman that we tie to the door knocker.

    LOL I think the judges are so insincere and I didn't recognize Nicole #too-much-surgery? And the singing? Oh dear. Then the outfits..... One looked like a Christmas Tree, but blue. We had horror-shivers at Simon's open shirt and hairy chest. We only had it on this Saturday to reaffirm why we don't watch it

    I'd rather have trees on the pavements and narrower roads or just less traffic. God forbid there is no room for nature in our wonderful city

    interesting that my annoyance at the fat woman on the train who refused to make space for anyone else caused such outrage. It's a general commuter problem - people refusing to move in, make space, squash up. She was particularly unsociable with it. Fact she was fat did not raise my annoyance levels but her behavior / intolerance did. I'm not particularly 'sizeist' but her general manner of behavior was unattractive.

    we were in Johnnie's at the weekend - managed to get my teen to eat (even though she didn't want to order anything).... Huge success....due to easy atmosphere, good food. We love Johnnie's.
