  1. can you please post the link?
  2. I support KK in raising the issue and I don't believe for one minute that (he/ she) would have posted this without good reason. Perhaps the best thing would have been to ask the shop for CCTV as well. It's a vile habit and I've witnessed people just walk away too. It's an offence and if a post like this makes people stop and think, then good. Perhaps the best thing is to be obvious about taking photos. And maybe get the camera out sooner. People post photos and videos on the forum frequently, of people who's behaviour is suspect.
  3. well, at least everyone knows that now there is a personal risk of being named and shamed so it may be a motivation to pick up your dog's poo.
  4. Brilliant brilliant news !
  5. A bit disappointing and poor behaviour. You could at least have let me know as I'd been running around trying to get someone to collect (which you were find with) You know who you are don't you, Mayumi....
  6. so what now? They just continue anyway?
  7. I'll write to her. I hope she has influence
  8. maybe if the person is copyrighted, or might set their "people" on you
  9. just go early and it's fine there's one in balham which is quite nice - it's a poshed-up Lidl
  10. Are they ever, if you're not on the beach? The urban equivalent is Sliders These are the gucci ones https://www.gucci.com/uk/en_gb/pr/men/shoes-for-men/sandals-and-slides-for-men/web-slide-sandal-p-429469GIB109079?lgw_code=9565-807189669&ranMID=37933&ranEAID=gcdL%2FATRVoE&ranSiteID=gcdL_ATRVoE-a.LVcyPPy351JVo1OegSnQ&utm_source=Linkshare_UK&utm_medium=affiliates&utm_campaign=1&utm_content=10&utm_term=2523611&siteID=gcdL_ATRVoE-a.LVcyPPy351JVo1OegSnQ&PublisherSID=2523611&PubName=Lyst+UK%2FEU
  11. sorry - that was when we lived in Brixton and was a while ago.
  12. dog walking is a funny one - I often get stopped and people want to know about my dog. I think you have to trust your instinct thoughand if something makes you feel unsafe, get away and somewhere with people. I was warned by the police before that dog thefts were happening where you woudl be followed home and the dog stolen while you were out...that was some time ago but it makes me aware of my surroundings and if I think I'm being followed.
  13. I've been caught short with not enough doggy bags before and had to go home before coming back out to pick up the poo. I'd be mortified if I was posted on forum (but then I would never dream of walking away completely
  14. It really shouldn't need to be said, but people need to be respectful and tolerant in a community. If you personally do not understand another person's issues, you do not have the right to rubbish it and try and show them in a bad light. People are just asking for a bit of thought and respect in regard to actions that negatively impact them. It's completely reasonable to do so.
  15. that's a great idea - always used to have loose tea and then it became normal to have tea bags - this is a good in-between
  16. we are getting a tea pot in light of this. I thought it was just the posh bags, not all teabags :-(
  17. I've not been able to collect the hoover and Southwark have not cleared it. Can we please treat this a a community problem and everyone who goes to the park pick a bit up?
  18. Brexit is pulling all focus from other matters, which is a disaster We're in a total stalemate - and they are behaving like chimps. Surprised they have actually evolved this far, as something has clearly gone wrong with this iteration of their genes.
  19. Sad state of affairs, and I expect they thought their age would be a mitigation, or bring sympathy.
  20. Thanks, it was dark when I got home so I will look in the morning and get in touch. That's very kind of you. I'll also call the park team.
  21. I'll get the details later and call them - thanks for that
  22. No comments about the level of idiocy of those who left masses of the beads in the park, but we've been trying to clear it up with a broom and a dustpan. If anyone has a leaf blower that hoovers, can you please let me know if we can borrow it? The stuff won't wash away in the rain and will be there until it either blows away or gets picked up bit by bit.
  23. You need to comply with HMO regulations. Get in touch with Lambeth If you're letting out a property to that many people, you need to be fully aware of ALL regulations (fire alarms etc)
  24. Please watch out for the big grey Great Dane sized dog - attacked and bit a medium/ smaller dog and owners disappeared. The dog has been known to attack on previous occasion. Usually seen in Greendale / Peckham Rye - usually out with two smaller dogs I know there are many even smaller dogs on the Green so just please be careful
