    if you can only work during school hours, you might easily find an au pair with a bit of spare time that will help you out on a regular or ad hoc basis.

    turns out the meeting was a warning to let me know the meeting is this week - so i can arm myself with a taperecorder or bring someone with me? why jsut me I ask ? cost cutting they say ( i think "it it because i am the only woman inthis department and work part time?" i also think "why has this not been mentioned in the past 12 months and i have never had a personal appraisal etc in the 3.5 years i have been here.") I feel like stamping my foot.

    i watched it a few weeks ago and cannot understand why i knew all the words- why is that i cant find things in my house but can singa long a Gallager and lyle , Heart on my sleeve. and the hair flicks!

    you buy the white icing, and you put drops of black colouring - or rather it is a paste you add-in it- then you kind of massage them in- a drop at a time until it is absorbed in.i think i may have some if you need some desperately ( just checked its a few years past its date!) i have not tried a food colouring pen but you can use a paintbrush - thin -and a bottle of food colouring

    mmm just found out that I have this in my diary for Thursday at work. Just me and Human Resources I see. ANy idea what this might involve? Do they usually offer you terms there and then? Any advice welcome ( Private company 3.5 years employment). THnaks .

    put it in the bath with a bucket of hot washing up liquid to hand and a scrubbing brush and give it a going over, then shower off- or you can do this outside and then use the garden hose.

    we have had 2 mercededes estates with extra seats in the boots. they have both been really good E300 D. They are quite old but have been safe family cars and had each for a least 10 years. I know the newer mercedes models have not reviewed so well but the older ones are really good ove 200,000 miles on the clock on the last one, 165,000 the current one.

    do you think you could substitute the cranberries with raisins- and the peanuts with another kind of nut- may be almonds?

    you have my complete sympathy. at least he keeps you fit- and for me i lost weight with such an active toddler. if you have a big garden that helps. i built little assault type courses ans we used to time ourselves how long it took. maybe a tramploine if you have space. lots of walking everywhere you can though.

    one of the advantages of ccf is that the cadets have to iron all their stuff for parades-when they are away at camp-so from then on they do all their own ironing ( and more for pocket money) :) at least thats what happened at our house.

    a and e kings on a fri or sat night is not a good place to be. BUT it makes you realise how lucky you are- some of the poeple there that need attention are rather sad cases- who you assume are regulars there and see it as a reception area- or refuge even.

    Update is :-a speed limiting course ( 2.5 hours)for ?97 or a ?60 fine and 3 points- or court. Just wanted everyone to know about the speed limit on the bridge as I did not see it- too busy avoiding Japanese tourists and cyclists.

    thanks- i stopped a bus driver last night and got the tel no of garage- but no keys/usb stick handed in- hope he backed his stuff on to the pc..... Teenagers!
