BoB....Don't know about this , I personally can't stand these child friendly "Herne "type gaffs.........For me the formula is simple..put in the hours when our boys are young and reap the rewards....so I steer clear of these places for sure. Why ...well because I have made a huge effort to teach my boys how to behave when in any restaurant. The Herne family to me consists of well meaning & hard working middle class parents who basically use the place to do the right thing, sit together and eat a family meal, but in reality they let the kids do what they wish whilst the parents get half cut. I don't blame them really , I have been there, working a 65 hr week for "the company" & then and the only time you see your children is not the time to lay down the law. I personally don't let my children run riot anywhere in public, oh sure they are kids, very funny, very cheeky, pushing the boundaries, I absolutely adore them, so the upshot is for us choice. I know we can eat where we like because the our boys know the score. We are very lucky..but we create our own luck

You must be over it now, if not cram loads of carbs....pasta ect.. Note. Many coffee houses use "Robusta" beans in their blend, Starbucks ect, this is the most vicious caffeine hit, always ask for 100% High Arabica bean when ordering............... softer hit allround W**F

Oh Keef I used to feel the same, but when my boys came along, well they expect you to be bl**dy superman & you have to get fit to be a good parent cos it knocks the sh*t out of you. I have 2 boys 8 + 4, they are full on & because I don't have T.V or X-box all week I have to go and play out with them every night and most w/ends I do however benefit from the training to keep up with them....arghhh W**F

I think it is a necessary & enjoyable evil if you want to keep strong and agile as you get older. I don't know what facilities you have been to but they don't sound very inspiring. Me the W**F family get great use out of our membership ,the boys have clubs like tennis, swimming & football at the weekends all year round. Mrs W**F & I also go in the week & work out, as we both run our own companies it gives us a chance to talk things through with out the distraction of phones & e-mail. I had a meeting last week with our accountants, we sat in the steam room, used the jacuzzi, had a thoroughly nice time and set ourselves up for the coming tax year. As for sitting aimlessly on an exercise bike well that doesn't happen either all the machines have flat screen t.v so you can plug in watch Sky & keep up with current affairs, all this in a large well lit air conditioned space. However I did search around for a such a good facility for quite a while, seeing some dross along the way. Really I don't think I could operate with out it now,I'm one happy dog so no Gym abolition vote from me. W**F

Ha I just read this thread and LOVING keef's post - but it was when I read ????'s first post on here that I thought "yep - that's the one" - because reacting like I have is cathartic (and BELIEVE ME I can go much much much further down that road) but it's basically giving these twonks what they want Look at WMTD's posts on this very thread- barely relevant, lacking any point of their own and entirely without wit or... jesus .. anything I've lost it before - where this voice of reason business comes from I have no idea (and Lady Mac even less so!) - I remember giving ????'s a fair few "go"s in my time - I do regret doing it on the xbox thread - I could have "pulled" more "numbers" if it was in one of the MANY threads currently infected - it was just that was just a specific, no need for any bullshit thread that made me go for it One of the twonks accused me of losing my sense of humour (and even doing that classic schoolchild "we've been talking about you in private" bullshit numbers) and to that it's a fair cop. I've been livid for days.. But to anyone who says "it's just a forum, get a life/some perspective" I would say that misses the point completely. Right here, as you read this, is just a forum but it's a mirror of larger society and the same bullshit problems afflict the wider world. So I don't get angry at numpties on a forum - I'm getting angry at the average adult's inability to get some cop on and deal with the world in anything approaching a mature way. When you have earned your stripes and convinced people you have a BRAIN then you get to go a bit mental and bend the rules. You know... like Pablo Picasso (he never got called an asshole... not in New York) [lots more was here - deleted for everyone's sake. As you were] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yeah stripes & brains aside gettin y'cop on an throwin big numbers you have serially missed the point, this is the reason I stick stupid interjections into the tread such as the X-box one X-box is somehow a relevant part of society is that right, my point is, yes "get a life" it's a kids toy wrapped up as now technology,it is bullshi* so for me grown men batting it around as if it a meaningful subject gets a poke or two.... something wrong with that but fairly sure it's OK so....... (can't see where ol' Pablo Picasso fits here though, no don't tell me you see some of him in you....really ) To most there is little value in sitting round getting through levels on some shoot em up game and consol & if you consort openly with like minded players (the "play" in the name gives it away) then be prepared for the odd pot shot from outside.... As for the forum...it too is a bauble,a micro toy & irrelevant it's virtual anyone can write any crap,I do it all the time...however as for the real world...come on this can't represent the real thing...the real "YOU" God surely not. Now if this were on X-box some could relate better

Im sorry if my Karma ran over your dogma...

Why physically hit out someone.....nobody really feels better after & If you do shame on you. It's far more important to inspire self discipline in a society, to get people to see their errors and correct them selves. Much better that than lashing out I think. Also agree with Wolfie.....for the greater good and all that W
