  1. If your father's cousin pre deceased him then your father's subsequent death will not affect the position. The estate will be entitled to whatever your father's share was. Your question is not clear on whether it is your father or his cousin who died intestate. Assuming it is his cousin the share above will fall to be divided under the terms of your father's will, as the entitlement crystallized before his death. This is assuming the cousin died first. If your father died intestate then it's easy enough to Google how estates are split in cases of Intestacy.
  2. Well done RD. Notice there was no long wait for the results this time. IWW.

  4. Good news and bad news. A month ago put biggish bet on Silviniaco Conti for the King George, saw it win on tv under Ruby Walsh and it could be the next Kauto they said.. It won again at Haydock yesterday. Immediately Paul Nichols stated it would be in the Gold Cup (2nd fav) but definitely would not run in the King George. Drat and double drat. On the other hand. Rory gave me a big win today. Was fascinating to watch Rory react to Justin Rose's final round 62 with 5 birdies. Brilliant viewing especially when you have a few quid on.

Eh sorry - I had completely forgotten about Milan. Same point applies though, not been in demand for a fair while.

  8. What I was getting at was that we should trust the normal channels. Has it been proposed through the normal channels? Is everyone who signed the petition either 1) happy to pay the extra tax that this will cost - or 2) accept the shortcomings that would have to be made elsewhere (in the NHS?) to accommodate this additional cost ?
  9. Why do we need a petition - does this mean this idea has been met with a refusal through normal channels?
  10. I hope Rafa has found his marbles again, as he had clearly lost then towards the end of his Liverpool days. It's a great opportunity for him, despite Chelsea's bad treatment of managers, as he has not exactly been in demand since leaving Liverpool. Good luck to him.

  12. The one against Everton could certainly have been accidental. The one this weekend looked a little more dubious. Doesn't mean its intentional, but hopefully there won't be a third one.
  13. I think the whole debate Israeli interesting.
  14. There are no serious poker players on this thread to answer that RD. ;-)
  15. We used to play hi/lo stud as teenangers when it was raining at the golf club. 20p in. I reckon I've still go it.
  16. The money is draining away [3600]. Yes lost on Rory. Have put ?100 on Celtic to win the Champions League :) at 210/1 ....you are all invited to the post tournament party.

  18. GG - you are such a fashion victim.
  19. Most people start high and accept less. I always worry about someone who says, our property was only on the market a week and we sold it already. In that case the market potentially did not have time to establish the right price of the property.

Hopefully not. I think its now a case of how best Chelsea can extract themselves without more egg on their faces. Its probably a case of presenting it as these accusations having to be properly looked into through the correct channels etc.
  21. Can't believe there is none in November...tut. Chances of getting a quorum in December decidedly slim I'd say Mr P. We have parties to go to.
  22. Families - bloody hell - I'm glad I never had one or was party to one of those ;) People have to remember 1) We were all children once and we all tried our best to behave. Its not easy for the children with all that energy, or the parents who try to continue to keep up the pretence of a normal life, whilst looking after them. 2) Lots of us will have to supervise children at some point, either as parents or grandparents. If you don't have children in your life at the moment, then its just not your time. But they are part of life and they are much nicer than many adults, who are often selfish tw*ts, without the same excuses. Give children a break, especially in London, they don't get a lot of time out of the house.
  23. Ah good point Mr Quids. You are probably old enough to remember the 1880s when most of the housing stock was built, so you have the advantage on us younger folk on that one.
  24. Yeah. So take that loser.
  25. ???? Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Do it like MickMack - about 9 days or so Yes - I've seen that now Quids - thanks.
