My Breeders Cup bet on Rip looks weaker now - there is little point in turning up if STS is in the field - although the dirt track may not suit him as he likes it fast, but even so you would not want to oppose him on any surface. I'm sort of hoping they don't run him and leave his fantastic record as it is. Then Rip will be favourite. The more I think about it the more I think they will not run STS in the Breeders Cup - its a new surface and an unnecessary risk and to be honest after today he has absolutley nothing to prove. Chris Sutton, a winner. Chris Sutton began his managerial career with a win with Lincoln City today. BBC showed him in his playing days at Blackburn and Norwich. But for me it was at Celtic where his partnership wih Henrik Larsson resulted in him scoring top goals against the best in Europe incl Juventus, Barcelona, Lyon etc. as seen in this clip. England missed him at international level and Alan Shearer often says Sutton would have been the person he would like to have partnered at international level. A very underrated player and a real winner.
