Female lead may turn out to be a bit of a slapper?

And I'd love it not to bother its backside. Sentiment goes out the window where there is money involved.

Oh I see - lets all have a laugh.... Anyone who expects me to remember anything about Friday night does not understand the power of Stella and Black Bush. BBW's hint was much too subtle. I have the Lounge on my favourites and rarely go anywhere else, hence without a PM I was never likely to come across it - could have gone on for years. [i saw that comment PGC....I'm retracting the whisky I owe you.] All very amusing - but best I get back to work :))

I think PGC if we had been given this penalty I feel the 2-5 would have been on the cards....;-) We should have had four penalties, but only got one....A good match and Rangers were deserved winners, they took their chances.

The opinions build on whether STS needs/should go the the Breeders Cup: Much interest concerns whether the horse will now go on to the Breeders' Cup Classic on dirt in Santa Anita, California, on 7 November. But Oxx, 59, said: "It might be a step too far. We'll let the dust settle after this victory and in any case the race is over a month away. "However, put it into another context it will also be almost Christmas and he has been on the go really since Easter." Kinane, who has now won three Derbys and three Arcs, was also sceptical: "His coat has gone. He's got hairy today and you can see he got warm. "I don't know what John and the owners have in mind. Does he need to achieve anything more? I don't know. It's questionable. He's a phenomenal horse. You'd hate to do anything wrong by him." His Hong Kong owner Christopher Tsui said the trip to the west coast of the United States was "a big question" that needed to be addressed. "We will have to have a long chat with John about that. I am ruling out nothing for now," said the nightclub owner whose parents had won the Arc with Sea The Stars' dam Urban Sea in 1993. European bookmakers remain wary that the horse may still take his place at Santa Anita despite the astronomical stud fee that awaits him. Sea The Stars was cut to 5-2 for the California contest by both Paddy Power and William Hill. But leading figures in racing questioned whether it was necessary for him to make the journey. Four-time Arc-winning jockey Pat Eddery told the Racing Post: "He was brilliant. He got a bit warm and he pulled a bit but he was brilliant. This horse has run every month for the last six months and won six Group Ones in a row. "They can go to America if they like but I just hope he never runs again. He's got nothing left to prove." Geoff Lewis, winner of the 1971 Arc on Mill Reef, said: "It's obvious he's one of the best we have seen for a very, very long time. I don't know why they would want to go to America, he's done enough already."

But I think Celtic played well and are building a decent side. If I was a rangers fan I'd be worried about how little of the ball they were able to get in a home match only to have 40% of the ball is poor. In a long season the difference will tell.

Yes BBW, I'm sure its fascinating.

I think Liverpool should kick themselves for not pursuing Gareth Barry in the summer.

Oh and it must feel even better if you backed him too - I think Quids and Kells both had antepost odds so well done. My Breeders Cup bet on Rip looks weaker now - there is little point in turning up if STS is in the field - although the dirt track may not suit him as he likes it fast, but even so you would not want to oppose him on any surface. I'm sort of hoping they don't run him and leave his fantastic record as it is. Then Rip will be favourite. The more I think about it the more I think they will not run STS in the Breeders Cup - its a new surface and an unnecessary risk and to be honest after today he has absolutley nothing to prove. (I hope I'm right:))

yes i agree declan. Motty is massively over rated. Now one of beebs better commentators.

arsenal hitting form.

a great ride from mick kinane too. Found the gap when he needed to. As rd said - a class team.
-
great race great horse.
-
Now you are being silly. Back to betting matters. Sea the Stars is set to fulfil his destiny in a few minutes. Willy carson keeps trying to talk him off his game so maybe he will be distracted. Great race in prospect. Is he bombproof?
-
if you saw the game pgc you will know there is only one team that will win the league this year. Good to see rangers getting up into 2nd spot.
-
very good bbw but but im not putting my head that close to anyones backside. Suggest you dust down your morris dancing shorts if you want to join in.
-
2-1 rangers now. Celtic always on top. Fantastic game of football.
-
2-0 rangers. Joke defending by celtic. Celtic are the better team though. Expect to win 2-5.

Old firm about to kick off at a hostile ibrox. Mowbray rings the changes. Caldwell dropped. Good.

there was a full stop after 'as we predicted' declan. Read it again. What im saying is the footie thread is the place to get best feedback on footie predictions. Dont be so defensive.

You are very brave LM, but good call. Health warning - Hal hits back hard when crossed.

Chris Sutton, a winner. Chris Sutton began his managerial career with a win with Lincoln City today. BBC showed him in his playing days at Blackburn and Norwich. But for me it was at Celtic where his partnership wih Henrik Larsson resulted in him scoring top goals against the best in Europe incl Juventus, Barcelona, Lyon etc. as seen in this clip. England missed him at international level and Alan Shearer often says Sutton would have been the person he would like to have partnered at international level. A very underrated player and a real winner.

I think you have got started on Ferguson Anna ... If Liverpool can do the business over Chelsea tomorrow and Arsenal also win - there is virtually nothing between the top 4 teams. [so get you money on "Arsenal-Nah", now, c'mon the Venger Bhoys]
